Seriously can someone help me with the title of a Shinki Chen song I cant find on here? Its like a 2 or 3 minute long mellow instrumental track thats kind of slow and repetitive and has the flute in it all the way through. It was on youtube a couple of months ago but I can no longer find it and would like to know the title so I can look it up elsewhere. Any help would be much appreciated!
I picked up the Black Rose label digital remaster on CD (2002) off ebay, and MAN am I happy. This album is cool through-and-through. I can't imagine what a mind-bend it must've been to hear this back in '72, though lord knows there was a lot of wonderfully crazy music floating around back then. Makes me lament the current state of music all the more. Long live the Shink!
I just spent a year in Japan, so I know what's available. This is a fantastic album.
The Black Rose reissues are fine in terms of sound, and they put out some re-issues that are otherwise unavailable (such as Blues Creation Live), but this is available legitimately from Universal Japan. You can get it through HMV Japan, with lyrics printed in English.
I just worry that if we keep buying pirated (Black Rose), record companies won't see the interest and will stop the re-issues.
Now i know were slash got the looks from

@PedeyHooferReturns the song is "Don't Say No" by Speed,Glue, & Shinki. Shinki Chen's band, that is.

You would be LUCKY to find one at a swap meet (unless you were in Japan)
And even if you did find one in the U.S., it would be all scratched and warped with no cover.
But you would get it for a buck.
You could always spend some money and buy a re-issue Lp or find it on cd.
Just LOOK around!!!!!
