  • i only used samus's up special for this stage. pwned all the way. got no item to

  • These guys are pain in the asses on Very Hard. It's incredibly difficult for me to get past these guys without losing a life on Very Hard.

  • @Nintendawg65 These guys are asses on any difficulty. Fuck playing on Very Hard and getting No Miss Clear, play on Very Easy and get No Damage Clear. It is worth more points than Very Hard Clear. A lot of clears in that comment.

  • I play this every time i rob the bank

  • blows ar at polygon

    polygon goes flying 500mph

  • My ultimate prediction for e3 this year is a trailer for SsbU but it wont be released till early 2013

  • @EICL2011 SHIT 2013!!!''?

  • @LaMnchaUrbana It'll at least take until 2015 for a release, if we're lucky. lawl.

  • @ReligiousHero well lets buy WII U :D then

  • * Theme

  • 0:00 at 0:15

It's remember me the them of ''Wario's Castle'' in ''Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins'' for GameBoy

  • it reminds me of the old F-Zero game :P

  • When this game came out. It was a nintendo dream come true, melee just made it x10 better, and brawl made melee x5 better. :D SMASH UNIVERSE and 3DS HURRY UP..

  • any one notice the pokemon

sound engine for that era was used?

  • Screw the fighting wire melee things ( I forgot what there called for real) I'd rather battle these guys!

  • @adrian126456 Melee had the Fighting Wireframes, Brawl had the Fighting Alloy Team ;)

Thing is, you'd have to have a really (and we're talking F-Zero X levels here) polygon count in order to make them actually look polygonal and jagged, if that makes any sense.

  • It may sound as a bad idea, but it's logical to wish for a remake of this game? (Yes, the N64 one). I enjoyed more the music here than any other game, and probably the game had more charisma, as we were just children or young people who loved to play this game. Yes, I like Brawl, but for me it wasn't as good as Melee, and Melee wasn't as good as this one. It's just my personal opinion, but overall they're a good game saga!

  • never play brawl. didn't own a cube. BUT don't think the people who made this game knew they just made the best mult fighter in gameing in history

  • epic

  • They should of remixed this for Melee AND Brawl!

  • @BennyFourStrings Keep your fingers crossed for the song to appear in in new Super Smash Bros Wii U and 3DS games ;)

  • @ChromaAurora along with the metal mario theme

  • Man, It took long for me to beat them on V-Hard, 1 Life, No Continues. xD

    Good times.

  • This is how i learned what a polygon was.... BEAT THAT SCHOOL!!

  • Mario's about to kick pikachu's ass.

  • @Fyrzon Crowd Favorite : "Mari-oh ! Mari-oh ! Mari-oh ! Mari-oh ! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEHHHHHHHHH !"

  • THE SONG JUST RESONATES EVIL AND ITS AWESOME

  • LETS GO FIGHTING POLYGON TEAM!

  • this sounds like the batman theme from the 80s

  • I miss the Fighting Polygon Team. They were the best.

  • I love that stage!

  • Thank you nintendo for the 2nd best nintendo 64 game evah

  • I always thought the fighting polygon team was so cheap back in '99 and I still do!

  • remix from mario land 2 wario castle

  • what's the name of this song? *trollface*

  • @AlexandreHidan1 find it out urself *trollface*

  • @AlexandreHidan1

    *Announcer voice*

    FIGHTING POLYGON TEAM

  • i miss this old game. too bad my nintendo64 broke...

  • Goddamn it TV Tropes/Ear Worm page!

  • WHERE THe FUCK IS THE FIGHTING POLYGON ALLOYS?!?!?!?

  • then i edit polygon sonic for gmod!

  • I always thought the announcer had said "Pink and Polygon Team!" but then I soon realized he said "Fighting Polygon Team!"

  • @agent2401 I always thought he said "Figthing Polygon Thingies" myself :/

  • @Astaroth42 Yeah, to me it kinda made sense. Since they are colored pink. XD at "Fighting Polygon Thingies" x]

  • Still one my favorite Nintendo songs!

  • ø„¸--Polygon team --¸„ø¤º°¨

    ¸„ø¤º°FOR3V3R``°°º¤ø„¸¸„ø

    from....

  • Fighting Polygon Team FTW!

  • Yeah I love this music. Its so cool plus Fighting Wire Frames and Primids don't have anything on the Fighting Polygon Team!

  • They should bring back the Fighting Polygon Team! Those lovable/hateable (your mileage may vary) blocky clones of s few of the playable characters...

  • yeah Polygon team FTW

  • @hikarinoryu No, they should make a mode where you are endlessly barraged by, the wire frames, polygons, and alloys.

  • The Fighting Polygon team will always be better than the wire frames and alloys.

  • yup plus they were loveable and hateable at same time and they actually put up a fight =3

  • It's a remix of Sonic Adventure's Open Your Heart!

  • An interesting theory. Too bad this came out before Sonic Adventure, because if it was a remix of that, it would be some epic foreshadowing from two games before Sonic joined up.

  • @DarthKain0

    Not necessarily

Sonic Adventure came out in Japan on December of 1998

Smash Bros. came out in Japan in January of 1999 I disagree with Hemley too but it's not like the US release is when the game was first developed.

  • @KeijiKG That's not what I thought when I typed that comment up. As in, the US release thing. I thought that SSB came out in, like, 1997. I guess I couldn't quite remember the date. XD

  • @DarthKain0

    Nope, 1999.

  • This music is so fitting!

Also, Fighting Polygon Team, the TRUE boss of single player mode. Master Hand is ridiculously easy.

  • I wonder how can it be Battle Stadium D.O.N with Super Smash Bros 64 classic mode. Fighting polygon anime, your metalic version, etc...

  • I like the way that they fly if you grab them or do the money attack witch mario :D they wil fly to the moon:p

  • when I listen to this I imagen myself beating the polygons and wacthing them fly in the air and fall down the screen

  • It's a shame this music only appeared in a single stage in singleplayer mode and never reappeared in the sequels. It's so damn catchy!

  • probably my favourite song in the franchise. that or the hyrule temple song in SSBM.

  • Reminds me of Conor music

    RIP

  • SSB64: Fighting Polygon Team (every character)

Melee: Fighting Wire Frames (Zelda and C. Falcon)

Brawl: Fighting Alloys (Falcon, Zelda, Mario, Kirby)

  • best music ever!!!

  • I think this is one of the best songs in the franchise.

  • :) lololollolloololol

  • Nice nice nice no?

  • Each have different multi people

    SSB: Polygon team

Melee: Wire Frames (Zelda and C.Falcon)

    Brawl: Zelda, CFalcon, Mario, Kirby

  • There's also the alloys in brawl!

  • Correct, its just that I forgot that they are called alloys.

  • I love the fighting polygon team! They were the funniest to beat! I wish they were in Brawl...

  • YES!

It's been YEARS since I played SSB! And the one thing I remember is the polygons!

    Thank you for this!
