na, they look skinny up till they have a smooth coat. my family have been breading and selling budgies for a very long time. we did have a fat looking baby once but it died, it was massive fluid build up under the skin
Well I dunno. Mine are really fat at that age. They eat like twice their body weight every day cos they need the extra food to grow new tissue. They have an extremely high metabolism rate at this stage.
