  • 5'6" 130 lbs division 1 high school hockey skating every day, would a top level skate be too much?

  • SUPEEEEEEEER!!! BAUER)))) x40!

  • Hello, I'm going to purchase some Bauer 22 I skate once or twice a week. I'm just wondering what size I would need if I'm an 8 in normal shoe size. thanks

  • fist

  • i have used the reebok pumps for 2 years now and im looking for a lighter skate which other brands would have a smoother transitions into the skates

  • my dad has that shirt...

  • That guy has nice hands

  • ok so i am 6,5' and 245, but i am only six teen and now i have to start to buy my own skates so i need them to last. i now have bauer x40 and want to get a stiffer boot but cant deside if i shoud drop $600 on x60's or spend less on a cheaper pair of skates. any help?

  • @TheWaZOO123 if you have got Canadian tire near you they got really durable skates

    And cheap too

I wear the Bauer ignite 22 and it really holds up well

I'm 14 too and I just started playing last year

  • Bauer Bumps

    Google IT

    Thumbs Up

  • im 14 and i need a cheap (about $100 max) skate and im just gitting started in hockey any thoughts

  • I'm looking for a new pair of skates for use on a pond near my house and I only skate probably once or twice a week playing pick up games with my neighbors. I am looking to buy an inexpensive skate that will serve me well, but is still comfortable. I wear a 9.5 size shoe, so I'm not sure if I should go with a size 8 or 8.5 so I can wear some warm socks outdoors. Any reccomendations on a good pair of skates under $75?

  • I just got a bauer vapor x16. Is it a good mid level skate?

  • I skate 5 times a week i get a new pair of skates every 6 months right now i have 195s there werth the money. befor them i had these the X40s so much better.

  • If you're getting Graf skates, what one would you recomend, 'm just switching from easton s17, What's the most comparable ?

  • What about depth/volume? I have the vapor x30's and it "fails" the pencil test (it grazes the top of my foot when i slide up and down the eyelids).

Should I move on to a more deeper skate like the ccm?

  • i bought a pair for $2.50 at the thrift store yesterday. size 10 just right, so im gonna start skating

  • "if u're still a young guy"??? im a girl! lol

  • thanks i actually ended up with the on35s their pretty sweet

  • Do you have a review for the Bauer Vapor X30? I can't find it, and I like the thorough reviews you guys give. I really like the X40, but I don't want to spend $329 on them, if the X30 is almost as good.

  • I have a pair of Bauer X40 size 11.5D (13 shoe) for $270 that are too big for me. I bought another pair of X40 at 10.5D. I used them once, never heat molded but can't return them because they've been sharpened.

  • what skates do you recomend i get if im just starting out and skating and playing hockey

  • i think vapor X:20 should be enough. if you are a geek then x:30

  • can u bake skates more then once???

  • yes, you can. Follow manufacturers instructions.

  • should i wear one or two pairs of socks? i've been wearing two because i was told two help prevent blisters when skating a lot everyday but also that two pairs means your feet don't fit the boot as well as they should and cause the skates to not respond as well as they should.

  • It all about feel, therefore two pairs definitely overkill. If you are getting blisters, it means you have not been sized properly.

  • i love bauer skates

  • and at 5:00 take the insoles out to dry

  • 2nd to top of the line from the "last year" is the best way to go for value.

  • what type of shin pads should I get if i like to put them over the tongue of my skate?

  • pretty much all you need are shin gaurd an inch or two longer than your current ones

  • I say get the Vector V06's. They're amazing

  • xxxx shin pads, thats what i use.

  • does anyone know if ccm vector 04 skates are heat mouldible?

  • I am pretty sure all skates are heat moldable. But i would ask a pro-shop guy first before you bake them. I would also suggest going to a proshop to bake them, not your own oven. You get the perfect time and temperature and these ovens are actually MEANT for skates.

  • thanks!

  • i am 15yo 143 pounds, 1.75m

  • uberkill it depends on what player you are i just got the one95 and im pretty big but there amazing if your smaller get the x 50

  • I wanted to ask, what kind of skates should i get? I can't decide. one95, XXXX or X:50. I can get them in the same price are. I am on ice 5 times a week, plus games on weekends. Now i have CCM vector 6.0 and i hate them. Shittyest skates i ever worn. One my skate weight like a pair of XXX.

    Please help decide

  • i dont know personally cuz im no expert.. but i would say one95 or x50 because the x50 is an updated version of like the xxxx's and they pretty much combined the vapor 30 and 40's together.. the one95's would be good if u like a more narrow, stiffer boot.. the cut is also hi-lo i believe, which emphazises on the power stride.. overall, i think you'll be real happy with each

  • the x-60 you mean, the x-50 is kind of between the xxxx and the lower one. The x-60 is called the vapor 50 however because x is roman for 10 (xxxx = 40 for example) and x being in front of 60 means ten before 50.

  • just a question does anyone know if the easton stealth s9 skate is heat moldable? ive looked at lots of specs and i just havent been able to find out.

  • im sure it is, almost all skates are heat moldable now. I had a pair of easton s7's (terrible skate not recomended) and they were heat moldable.

  • could you get your hands on some mission nme nine-1's???

ive had Reeboks for 2 years and i hate them so i wanted to get some new ones

  • I'd like to see a comparison between the X60 and the X50

  • thank you

  • kk i need new skates and i have like an 800$ limit and i need to know what kind are what i need, i like stiff skates and lite and i love to have a strong blade i play about 4 times a week for 2 hours a time, and i have vapor XXX's now and im 15. can you please tell me what kind are good

  • ok, it is all about fit, but again stick with the brand and try X40, X40 is improvement of XXXX pretty much. find our video review with all the info. good luck

  • i thought the X50 was an upgarded xxxx

  • the X60 are the best skates out there and i love the ones i have

  • Nice!
