Hello, I'm going to purchase some Bauer 22 I skate once or twice a week. I'm just wondering what size I would need if I'm an 8 in normal shoe size. thanks
Please go check out my channel I'm trying to do reviews for sports products aswell. I dont have any public videos out yet but there will be many to come.
ok so i am 6,5' and 245, but i am only six teen and now i have to start to buy my own skates so i need them to last. i now have bauer x40 and want to get a stiffer boot but cant deside if i shoud drop $600 on x60's or spend less on a cheaper pair of skates. any help?
I'm looking for a new pair of skates for use on a pond near my house and I only skate probably once or twice a week playing pick up games with my neighbors. I am looking to buy an inexpensive skate that will serve me well, but is still comfortable. I wear a 9.5 size shoe, so I'm not sure if I should go with a size 8 or 8.5 so I can wear some warm socks outdoors. Any reccomendations on a good pair of skates under $75?
I skate 5 times a week i get a new pair of skates every 6 months right now i have 195s there werth the money. befor them i had these the X40s so much better.
Do you have a review for the Bauer Vapor X30? I can't find it, and I like the thorough reviews you guys give. I really like the X40, but I don't want to spend $329 on them, if the X30 is almost as good.
I have a pair of Bauer X40 size 11.5D (13 shoe) for $270 that are too big for me. I bought another pair of X40 at 10.5D. I used them once, never heat molded but can't return them because they've been sharpened.
should i wear one or two pairs of socks? i've been wearing two because i was told two help prevent blisters when skating a lot everyday but also that two pairs means your feet don't fit the boot as well as they should and cause the skates to not respond as well as they should.
I am pretty sure all skates are heat moldable. But i would ask a pro-shop guy first before you bake them. I would also suggest going to a proshop to bake them, not your own oven. You get the perfect time and temperature and these ovens are actually MEANT for skates.
I wanted to ask, what kind of skates should i get? I can't decide. one95, XXXX or X:50. I can get them in the same price are. I am on ice 5 times a week, plus games on weekends. Now i have CCM vector 6.0 and i hate them. Shittyest skates i ever worn. One my skate weight like a pair of XXX.
i dont know personally cuz im no expert.. but i would say one95 or x50 because the x50 is an updated version of like the xxxx's and they pretty much combined the vapor 30 and 40's together.. the one95's would be good if u like a more narrow, stiffer boot.. the cut is also hi-lo i believe, which emphazises on the power stride.. overall, i think you'll be real happy with each
the x-60 you mean, the x-50 is kind of between the xxxx and the lower one. The x-60 is called the vapor 50 however because x is roman for 10 (xxxx = 40 for example) and x being in front of 60 means ten before 50.
just a question does anyone know if the easton stealth s9 skate is heat moldable? ive looked at lots of specs and i just havent been able to find out.
kk i need new skates and i have like an 800$ limit and i need to know what kind are what i need, i like stiff skates and lite and i love to have a strong blade i play about 4 times a week for 2 hours a time, and i have vapor XXX's now and im 15. can you please tell me what kind are good
ok, it is all about fit, but again stick with the brand and try X40, X40 is improvement of XXXX pretty much. find our video review with all the info. good luck

If you're getting Graf skates, what one would you recomend, 'm just switching from easton s17, What's the most comparable ?
crevassejumper 1 year ago
What about depth/volume? I have the vapor x30's and it "fails" the pencil test (it grazes the top of my foot when i slide up and down the eyelids).
Should I move on to a more deeper skate like the ccm?

It all about feel, therefore two pairs definitely overkill. If you are getting blisters, it means you have not been sized properly.
