That is one lightning slide, and perfection to boot! Yes, the "practice remark" was a joke; obviously Conan was just as blown away by Derek's playing as the rest of us... if he didn't make a joke about it, he would have to pull a Wayne and Garth "we're not worthy" homage, and he didn't want to ruin his nice suit pants.

I just watched ths like 6 times in a row. The singer is amazing and that slide guitar solo is just sick. It's like 70's rock done better than most bands that were actually around in the 70's. Awesome.
