Hi there, does anyone know the name of the first soundtrack playing in this scene? It sounds very much like a production from Tangerine Dream, although it is said they did not end up working for this movie. Cheers.
This movie needs to be on the internet. I have not seen it in YEARS. Wasn't there a scene where a bunch of doctors and nurses were walking in to a hospital room, and he would shoot each one that entered the room?
the new dylan dog movie is a complete shit! the majors the produce it have bought the copyright by Sergio Bonelli editions, but in that shit there's ONLY the name and the dress of Dylan. the style, the personality, the soul of the original character are very close to DellaMorte, in this great movie (Dylan is just a bite more... positive :)
Escaping something they never can. He will forever run into the girl he loves. he finally knew that it was knagy that he really loved (not in that way). the sequel is there if Soavi is
can ANYBODY tell me where this film is available!? because must see it but it's not available in austria (where I live) and i was looking for it at hmv/london ... maybe italy? help me please
i think that Dellamorte is insane the whole time, gnaghi was his like "Wilson", from the video "castaway". So at the end, Gnaghi got hit, which killed him. So then Gnaghi became like the other people in the town. Leaving Dellamorte in despair and the only different one from the rest of the people. I mean him and Gnaghi were the only ones that could understand each other, other than than valentina. That i dont seem to understand.
@s0mthingsmells I don't know what Gnaghi is saying, he's saying some kind of gibberish like gna or na or something. Gnaghi is the fat guy with the almost shaved head who got his head busted to blood on the car dashboard.
As symboilic as it is, i think most people read to far into the ending. The tunnel is life and all dellamorte wants to do the whole time is fast forward through life, because in his opinion it doesnt even matter bc everyone is going to die. I think that this was not a dream but that dellamorte was a psycopath. It seems as tho he kept gnaghi captive, as soon as the gun was gone, he asked to be taken home... already after showing us that he was smarter than dellamorte earlier.
the dead chick the cemetary man gets with was really beautiful. Plus, she had a really nice rack, which is always a bonus. :)
I totally didn't understand the end. If it was only a dream, why was there so much detail to the dream? At least with Jacob's Ladder you understood what it all meant at the end. In this ending I just went, "What??" Oh, and those little flying ghosts. They made not sense at all. :)
I think that the poem at the end is a clue , without beginning without end , evermore amen . He was caught in an endless loop of failed love affairs , that's why " She " kept on showing up , it was the same woman , but they all ended tragically , falling in love is the " death " of the self and the loss of identity . JV
I doubt it was me , if there is a similar explanation then it's coincidence , but i have read a number of different explanations , so there's no doubt my own experience with this film and the things iv'e read , have influenced my view regarding the conclusion of DD. JV
The whole thing was a dark fantasy , hence the snow globe at the end of the film . Maybe in his waking life he felt trapped in an emotional pit of despair . The clue that he was about to awaken from the nightmare was Ghnagi speaking for the first time and FD grunting . JV
That's what that part means from the poem , death and love are two kindred drums that beat the time till judgement day and you are merely an actor in a passion play helpless to avoid either one , destined to fall victim to their spirit killing power . Yeah , right , i don't know really , i always get something different out of it everytime i watch it , it has so many narrative layers and interpertations , it's terrific . Jv

When Doggie talks and he just mutters, is almost like a reversal in charactors, and also take note that they switch places in the snow globe

Is the actor who plays Gnaghi big in France?
I've seen him in City of Lost Children and Brotherhood of the Wolf

I think the girl with the nice rack as you say, is Emmanuele Beart, she was also in Mission Impossible and Date with an Angel.

No, the girl is Anna Falchi.

He always seemed to be the most
sympathetic character IMHO.

It's such a beautiful film. But really does any of it make sense. Lets just pretend that it has some really deep meaning that we'll never understand.

There's no "rest of the world", beyond that tunnel. There's no escape from what you are. I think this is the meaning of the final scene.
