thanks a lot for replying back to me, you were very helpful. but after a lot of thought i think i'm going to sell my dual rec and save up for a hughes and kettner coreblade amp.
the10ibanez, yes...this pedal would work perfect for u! checkout the video james did of the tightdrive...he plays thru a hi-gain distorted marshall...its tight & clear! you need to run all pedals in front of the amp that add or change gain (overdrives, dist, compressor) FX loop is for delays, chorus and such...hope this helps!
i just bought a mesa dual rec solo head, it has plenty of gain and i play heavy music but the gain gets kinda floppy and loose. would this pedal work well to not so much add distortion but tighten up the gain plus get more articulate note definition. oh ya can i just run it in front of the amp cuz i have an rp500 in the fx loop. thanks.
