@GeneralTyler4 Maybe your too young. Greg Moore was a Canadian CART driver. He was and still will be my fav race car driver. He was talented beyond his yrs. People tlk about Franchitti,Tony Kanaan,Castroneves, Greg would've dominated in IndyCar series.He was killed dure the finale CART race on Oct 31,99. Watch the 1998 Rio race Moore vs Zanardi. I miss this guy such a classy person he was.

Damn... amazing. Absolutely amazing. And i love watching them cars still riding good lines that late in the race, and not sliding while going into the turns. unlike todays cars....piss poor designs, and goodyear cant pull their shit together to produce a race ready tire.... what a shame. Sure do miss these kinds of races..... :'(

the idea behind iroc was to put drivers from all different series in the same car and see how they head to head on equal ground.

I think that if Sr. hadn't passed away that Jr. would be a multiple series champion by now with at least 40 wins under his belt. You lose your dad and you are doing the same thing as he does, it will work on you. Jr. lost direction, lost his guidance and mentor. I still think Jr. will win a cup and this year may be the year the way he is running.

@LT1HILLINGHOE I don't think he would have that many wins maybe in the 30's he barely lost the championship in 04 the S bomb on live tv in victory lane at Talladega cost him some points and because of that he made a desperation move at Atlanta a couple weeks later that cause him to crash without that points penalty he would have settled for the top 5 instead of trying to win to make up points and probably had won the Cup.

@jrfan07 I don't buy the 2nd tier HMS equipment excuse either! They are going to put the driver with the biggest fan base in the sport in 2nd tier cars? Come on, they would be sitting on top of the world if Jr. was winning races and championships. moreso than they ever would with Jimmie or Jeff (or even Mark for that matter). @iceman83458345 the iroc cars sounded/looked fast, but they were relatively low on power, so the races at the larger tracks were just like restrictor plate races.

jr fan as well....he cant race this import looking new car. Stupid. Give it front spoilers and big rear wing to help improve around corners. Real drivers dont need that. but nascar is turning import it seems. last time I checked an impala ss was a 4 door and didnt have a big as wing...nothing stock about stock car racing anymore. once they get closer to stock car, jr shows his skills. till than, nothing will change.

his struggle to win consistantly started in 05 with the old car, so i dont think that's it. every other driver has to race in this new car also. i think that somewhere between 06 and 09 he lost something, remember the 07 richmond race and how he kept a horrible handling car in the top 5 all night. until late last season i hadn't seen that same desire from him since, i have a feeling he'll win a few this year though.
