  • Windows 7 is sucks!

  • @spy111kill your english is sucks Mr. Humpty Dumpty

  • This feature can help solve more problems then just OS problems. and that is just WONDERFUL.

  • OMG .. I'm actually in love with the feature I didn't know of.. YEA. X}

  • hi i need help. if i open a application it starts up and my kaspersky show up allowing it, but then the application just closes but if i try the same application on my windows 7 laptop it works fine. what should i do i cant find a solution anywhere

  • Does any1 know how to get the subwoofer working on windows 7? This is a common problem that doesn't have a working answer.

  • ok lol

  • Sweet I found it myself! It is real nice!

  • So, what if the problem crashes the computer? Would it save the file regardless? That's just common sense.

    That's definitely cool though.

  • wow i didnt even know my computer had this thanks

  • Get well soon chris ;-)

  • It just shows windows knows windows 7 will have problems so they added that so people can get stuff fixed!

  • stop bitching. There's nothing wrong with Windows 7! problems that could occur may be due to hardware or 3rd party software.

  • @pur10907 Um... Duh? All OS's have problems on occasion. The only way to fix them is to find them. This is one of the ways in which Windows has always beat Mac OS due to the fact that Apple wants you to think that it's problem free.

  • @pur10907 it is an operatingn system so it can and will have a problem. mac and linux also have problems.

  • question i just got windows 7 and any program that i put up and back round it is like fuzzy

  • doesnt it require to be connected to the internet inorder to be hacked??? logic sense?

  • Man, I guess this settles how pale you get when you don't see the sun for months at a time in your mom's basement.

  • @rick83120 hahahahaha good one!!

  • This is bitichin.

  • what you later? i dont understand what he says? something you later

  • all u have to search on start is psr

  • dude you hate on everything

  • Fuck! that would be the no.1 tool to make a hacker's life much more easier!

    Windows 7 is toast!

  • There is no way someone can hack your computer with this you idiot.

  • You're an ignorant fool! why don't you get out of that shithole you're in right now, so you can at least feed some knowledge on that corroding brain of yours. Idiot!

The Pentagon said their software can't be hacked but still they got hacked. That is because they are just bunch of morons like you.

When your going to make an statement, at least have something to back it up. Retard!

  • It is next to impossible to hack someone via a program which is not connected to the internet.

    ...

  • holy sh3t!!! You are annoying!!

  • I have windows 7 finaly ultimate 64bit

    my computer is practically awesome

i i have gotten 2 blue screens out of nowhere

    but after reboot...it's all fine

Windows 7 is still awesome...those problems don't affect me since windows opened last will re-open and PC boots up in 15 seconds

ps. MAC IS A WASTE OF MONEY

    AND IT DOES HAVE PROBLEMS

  • those blue screens are harware problems. You should find our whats wrong with them.

  • well, i did install windows 7 on my desktop that had windows vista

then i did a clean install of windows 7

    but it says

"Coprocessor: The drivers for this device are not installed"

could that be the problem? where do i get the information to see where to get the exact driver software

ps. it's an Acer Aspire M5641 Desktop 64bit

please, if you know anything, tell me.

  • yo check all these comments...windows sucks...GO MACINTOSH!!!

  • ok i have a problem, things i have added to the computer after i updated to windows 7 cant connect to the internet, they can in safe mode but i cant play them in safe mode -.- im in the secret administrator and still no avail, something internal is blocking these programs, these include clients like combat arms or perfect worlds or D&D online please reply to this or PM me if you know whats wrong

  • Holy crap! How long are PC users going to be strung along with new OS's that don't deliver! There is NOTHING anyone can do to convince me otherwise. MAC IS the ONLY OS that works. Why is Pirillo lauding the "Record Problem" feature? Why should there be ANY problems? Hello-o. MAC essentially has no problems. Oh, and NO viruses (to speak of). I even run Mac OS from an external drive with NO effort. Do THAT on a PC. Excluding exceptions, once ANYone switches to a MAC, they do NOT go back.

  • I dual-boot mac OSX and windows 7 on my macbook, and I have not used snow leopard since I got win 7. It's much better. OH, and just so you know, there ARE viruses for macs, the level of OS security is now on par or better than OSX's, and my Mac hung the day I got it. So I don't wanna hear it.

  • Yeah..NO

Chris pirillo is a fucking nerd who has nothing better to do than sit at him talking about microsoft all day, you know what my friend downloaded windows 7 just now and already we're having problems..

Get a mac get a ps3, best combination ever

  • dude you are right!!!!

  • my gadgets to windows 7 dont work plzz help me

  • Blue screen o' death...

    I HATE IT...

  • to chris, this feature is orgasmic.

  • i bought his ebook which i found useful costs me 8 bcoz of Australian dollar but most of the stuff i knew but there's was so much i didn't know

  • that's like tech support heaven! WOW :D

  • Wow I remember him in the movie Wargames. He was the geek without the beard. LOL Ok this is a good video and I thank you for it. U rock dude. Now you make you wonder about the other features. I need to get the book. Thanks

  • it is really good... I have been using it since they came out with the original beta and verrryyyy happy with it. it's definately a come back since vista.... was about to trash the pc :) but now i change my mind

  • Pirilo has to serously stop doing drugs!!! WTF that the best windows7 app!!!??

Linux 4ever!!! we just VNC. Live video of any desktop.

  • The guy in the video is an idiot.

  • you can do the same thing with a program called JING. I mean if thats the best part of Windows 7 then WTF.

  • there will always be another third party solution out there, sure. But your mom doesn't know about JING. Most people don't know about JING. If you need to fix someone's computer remotely, and you don't, you know, have time to tell them to download / set up JING or VNC or whatever, then PSR is a great solution.

    Just sayin.

  • @bosshog672 this is not anywhere close to the best feature of windows 7.

  • Problem steps recorder should have something like VNC...

  • o everything stops vnc, if windows downloads malware updates it disactivates vnc, if you have a firewire defender it blocks it, every fucking shit does, im in it department and theres been millions of times i have to go onsite to fix it .

  • Thanks Chris, this will be very useful for tech support especially family....Never even knew it existed, I have been using RC for 6 months.

    Thanx once again

  • You should by his 70 Windows 7 Tips eBook then!

  • Skype can do sharescreen. -_-

  • ichat can do sharescreen

  • Yeah, he covered that feature in a previous session about ichat :D :P

Sorry Chris I don't find this groundbreaking at all, sounds like a mix between the bug reporting tools that have been part of gnome and ubuntu for a long time and the scharescreen on ichat.

  • I can't wait to start receiving these files from idiot users who do not realize it takes and delivers screenshots and who have left their porn windows open in the background.

  • cool

  • why do people say windows 7 looks like vista stfu mac users your fucken osx is the same shit also lol omg i love that this is cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • You don't understand much do you?

  • shut up microsoft user

  • Vista is unsecure, I'M insecure! LOL!!!

  • WIN 7 (RTM) = POS. On my Dell XPS 710 I've had two BSOD in two days. I changed from two monitors to one and WIN 7 lost the video card and monitor drivers. WTF? MS has some work to do yet.

  • i know i just had the BSOD today on my windows 7 :(

  • REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY COOL!!!

that's something you don't get with mac os x.

Well, you get ichat, but were talking about a big upgrade of windows!

  • its like a joke...i tried it,,and You are absoloutely Riiiiiiight....!

  • I see a BIG problem with this, you have to be able to USE the computer and access the internet or something to send the problems recorded so..... not so happy with that

  • of course it need internet . then how can it send the report?with internet

  • hey...thats beta version dude...

  • Ever hear of remote desktop?

  • Yep. I've helped friends with problems using that tool. Works great. Just wish the mouse was a little smoother.

  • this is just unix typescript

  • there is another program witch let's another pc user from all over the world use yous pc under your permisson . so he can see your problem and solve it himself.!!!

  • pretty cool one ,or three steps better than snipping tool for vista the trouble- Recoder first one pretty cool chris

  • Fucking hell! :D

Damn good thing for helpdesks or support guys. :)

  • It would fucking help if some one told me who you email this to

  • anybody who might be able to help you

  • i wonder if this feature can be triggered only by user ;))))

  • -_- What's the email for the support on this ?

  • hes such a nerd ^^

  • But also one who actually CAN explain things, and make things clear. That's what most nerds can't. ;)

  • if u a lady, sounds like u hav a crush on him like spiderman's gf, "hes such a nerd" :)

  • Not as useful as you think it is. Remote desktop connection is 100% better, than this presentation file.

  • It's useful if you dont know what you're doing and your friends dont knows what you're doing, you can just upload the file to a forum and get the answer like that =D

  • Lol ever heard of Teamviewer??

You can watch each others pc live..lol

  • I agree, but those without broadband capabilities, might have trouble using such a program. At least with a Winzip file, it would be compress and small, and easy to send via e-mail.

  • I freaking love that program.

  • It's useful if you dont know what you're doing and your friends dont knows what you're doing, you can just upload the file to a forum and get the answer like that =D

I wouldnt let a random person on a forum teamview my computer

  • m8 is mate :-)

    Thanx m8

  • M8 means "mate"

  • Windows 7 is going to be so awesome, shame that the Ultimate is going to cost more than $300,-..

and btw, am I the first to notice that we react to W7 the same as Windows Vista?

  • u have a shit pc m8

  • probably not. your going to need at least 1gb ram. 2gb to work well. and your processor is probably too slow too. computers become obselite so quick :/

  • i've been running windows 7 on my main computer which is my gaming rig, and i say so far its far superior to to Vista in many ways. when i first tried it i got a few BSODs but that turned out to be a memory problem. since i haven't had any more major crashes. i definately like this feature and will keep in mind when i'm doing troubleshooting to find incompatibilities with other programs. i have been a windows supporter for years and win 7 is by far the best thing microsoft has going currently.

  • No whats retarted is tech support these days. Most IT technical support is outsourced and its very hard to understand them and most of them arn't very good at all. This tool will help communicate your problem much better.

its not about explaining your problem its getting those fuck tards to understand what your trying to say.

  • These phone centres should be illegal. Can cost a small fortune too. Usually means ringing "Bob, Hank or Tod or Suzanne" all with a strange indian accent....who do they think they're kidding! If Windows had good regional/local tech support we'd still all be on XP with a few tiny SP's, which would be awesome and easy on your PC. Everytime I upgrade my PC Windows takes it uppon itself to push its limit and take up as much space as possible. Back to square 1 every time I upgrade.

  • pissu huthek

  • thz z coool

  • can i ask you 1 question?

    whats ur electric bill?

  • wow, windows is becoming more cooler by the day.

  • dude i love your pc's

  • this is soooooooooooooooooooooooooo cool !

  • Whats the point of buyin a mac if you have to install windows to read most programs and games

  • Lol, I like the slogans people were saying for Windows 7 in the chat. People were saying things like: "Windows 7: we finally got one right!" and "Windows 7: forget about that last one..."

  • im using windows 7 its very clean love it

  • WOW!!, Microsoft finally managed to make something on their own without copying apple!! congradulations microsoft 1 down 10,000,000 to go!!

  • Actually, each company has MODIFIED features from eachother's OS's since the beginning. Neither company has stolen more or less idea's than the other has.

However, I admire the fact that you actually praised Microsoft instead of trying to insult them like 95% of Mac users would do.

  • Good Point......

  • thanks m8

  • why dose everyone hate mac? i have a windows computer for the only reason i cant afford a mac. and i work with macs alot at school and i like them better!

  • i can't understand a word you're saying

  • Improve your english then, chriswillb! =)

  • but i do think this guy is gd there's no doubting that!

  • Sorry, but to deal with a problem remotely it is easier if you use TeamViewer, which is free and simple to use, and allows you to provide assistance in real time, not as a series of slides. So I don't need windows Vista or 7.

  • Actually, with Windows 7 there's no reason to use TeamViewer. They have upgraded "Remote Windows Assistance" with the ability to connect via a simple number, just like TeamViewer.

It will then bypass all firewalls/routers etc. just like TeamViewer does.

  • That sounds good to me!

  • AMazing...

  • Support the claim...

  • creepy, you never know whether or not Microsoft is watching... they could be watching right now.

  • stfu

  • Windows XP: Average Man

Windows Vista: Average woman (sexy but doesn't do much)

Windows 7: the perfect man-woman relationship xD

  • hell yeah! lol

  • right, because everyone who uses a computer has these problems.

look, you don't like windows? than don't use it! don't make up bull shit to make other os's look better

  • I use XP, and what I just said was not my opinion, these are facts. as I said you can search internet for these stuff. Btw, I love XP. It's not a matter of like, it's a matter of architecture, engineering. Vista/7 without those features, can be the best.

  • I hope Windows 7 rocks out. R.I.P. XP

  • reminds me of a donkey with a carrot tied in front of him ,not quite smart -enough to spot the fact that he is being used to pull a cart .and in this case an overweight and grossly over priced one .

  • mmmm. Nice. I have no doubt that this will help the Windows e-mail tech team.

  • Does this offer screen capturing with it, you might have answered that, I was too busy starring at your system. I mean if someone needs help with lets say Photoshop, are they able to show you what they're doing then you have the ability to send them back how to do it correctly?

  • nerd...

  • Remote desktop control usualy works a lot better. :)

  • well for all those who say they would rather use a remote assistant

u actually dont understand wht this guy is talking about ...

its like recording wht you are doing on your PC and making an album of it with footnotes (automatically generated) to send it to someone or to keep it to urself fr future refrence ...

by the way why is this guy so animated ???

  • stupid

  • can u use a screen cast when showing something instead of showing the video? It would be easier for the viewers to understand that way....................

  • THIS is AWSIME I AM SO DOWNLOADIN IT ON MY VMWARE

  • xp is the best i have vista and xp but xp is the best and always will be!

  • That's your opinion.

  • I don't see what the big deal is. I can make screenshots AND share them in a non-proprietary format.

    Chris, wtf?

  • I gotta say that's impressive! I guess it's the result of having everyone involved with Vista fired from MS and a new team assigned.

  • Windows XP is still the best Windows ever created and will not be going away anytime soon because too many of us won't let it....

  • OMG. Idiots!!!

UMMMMMM I'm pretty sure that remote desktop would be better for that type of situation. Just thought I would let you guys know.

And omg a screen recorder amazing I cant believe no one has thought of that before!!! OH WAIT hang on, it appears that there is thousands of applications which record screens and much more already available free of charge. my bad

    Morons.

  • what about you have no static ip or you can't connect to the pc think about it's is a new tool in the bag

  • you realy dont know what this video is about... -.-

  • Your All Noobs

    Windows 7 will format a 8Gb - 180X thumbdrive in 8 minutes

    Windows XP will format a 8Gb - 180X thumbdrive in 8 seconds

Windows 7 will boot to desktop on a 105MB/sec Seagate with a 3.2Ghz CPU in 28 seconds

Windows XP will boot to desktop on a 330 Atom using a 300X Compact Flash Boot Disk in 12 seconds

  • Last year I was using screen sharing to control my dad's Mac in China. Not only would I see what he's doing as he does it, we were also doing voice chat at the same time. I was practically there looking over his shoulder. And when I needed to drive his computer, I just tell him hands off on the mouse and keyboard. This feature in Windows 7 is nice in that it records events with small foot print. But I'm not as impressed as you are in regards to remote tech support.

  • I'm impressed that its included in windows, but I perfer remote software instead.. scVNC it rox!

  • Thanks Microsoft for a great OS at last the Beta is awesome.

  • So basically you took a picture of an error messege that you can send to someone that you know that can fix the problem?

  • OSX iChat with free account already does this. But you know that already Chris.

  • thats sooooooo cool

  • Es una gran cagada...

Muchas mejoras... O... Muchos parches sobre Vista.

Quien tenga Vista que sepa que su dinero a servido para ser utilizado como una verdadera coballa para microsoft

  • YES YES YES YES FINALY thank u windows .....

  • Windows 7 is so much better tahn both XP and Vista. I cannot wait till it is released

  • You sure are secure about your insecurity.

  • Hey Chris can a non windows 7 user open this file. If it was sent to them

  • yes if you open it in internet explorer 6 +

  • Great man LOVE IT

  • WOW:D niceeeeeeeeeeee thanks i didn't know that... now i do

  • could just use cam studio

  • So that's why it's 90% of the market?

  • that's why you clicked on this to say that ? your right but its the best around, the others are just worse

  • well i mean i want linux just my god damn adapter wont work with it but it will work with vista + xp

  • hey now MS can finally fix all the problems we will be having.. if we can send this type of file to there tech support it should be much easier to for them to have us walk them through a problem rather having them looking at lines and lines of error codes.. Awesome!

  • 2:27 ROFLMAO!!

  • use a program to remote controll like crossloop and just take over the goofs computer, djeezes

  • This is awesome. Just not for what it was intended. People who can't explain a problem probably wont be able to figure it out.

BUT! This is a fantastic walk through tool. Just not so much for bugs.

  • sounds nice but why not just use remote desktop or ultra vnc or vnc? Been using it for years I guess if you can't get the person to configure it correctly this *might* be easier...
