An excelent parody of what we could expect from the BBC's more conservative channel back in the 70's. Documentary style subjects which interested about 2-5% of the population; foreign films which, again, were never meant for mainstream audiences and then almost immediately after, programmes which weren't meant to be thought about at all. Pro-celebrity strip poker, (preferably without the option of seeing Arthur Mullard naked), springs to mind! LOL
@JFredUK I suppose BBC4 today caters for the same minority audiences BBC2 catered for in the 70s; it's always nice to have an alternative to the mainstream, but I think I could live without 'Pro-Celebrity Strip Poker'!
Bloody Hell that was a cracking episode!. So many highlights - The Talking Heads spoof, chinky chips,The Bastard, the gary glitter pc repairs reference and two Doctor Who mentions!. I like the way you intergrated the colourised footage of the invasion by the way!
@MrElliotpaige Glad you enjoyed it! I have to confess by the time I got to the last one, I resorted to a simple caption to show Saturday's line-up because I'd literally run out of programmes to parody and couldn't think of anymore! This took twice as long to put together as the last few, but it's a relief to know it raised more smiles than just me own.
Arthur Mullard nude, HRH Princess Anne in "Horse-Face of the Year Show", the infamous Stranglers at Guildford University "Hangin' Around" clip & "The Creature from the Black Lagoon Knacks Godzilla". What a fantastic week on BBC 2!?!?!? Thank you!

@Agaricfly68 Glad to be of service; I must admit the Princess Anne clip (and the Queen's joyous response) had to be my own personal favourite!
