  • Yeah, better use a router.

  • Its caulk, not cock.

  • But thanks for putting these videos on here.

  • What happened to your guard when you cut that angle with the scrap piece of wood. I know there is a better way than that. I'm going to make some kind of jig with a clamp to cut angles like that.

  • what about the wiring terminals?

  • applying cock in the box?........

  • @colito2424 Well, I put my cock in my woman's box.

  • @1BlubeTube im totally with ya on that one!

  • Ultamite THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID moment at 03:32 lmaoo

  • he's rubbing cock with his finger

  • Its not just cock, Its BLACK COCK!!

  • curious.. why not cut the hole before applying it to the box?

  • he said COCK

  • 3:52-4:00 thats what she said ha

  • good pass with the tape

  • .. how do i find the dimensions and stuff for a ported box?

  • Could you use a jig saw instead of a table saw to make a 45 degree cut?

  • wat is the thickness of MDF are u using, and any tips for making an enclosure for a 15" sub?

  • @UnrealSniperKing 0.75" mdf dont mess up and use structural supports where you can.

  • @1FMF2 alright thanks

  • so hes putting COCK in his BOX hmm would that not rattle around in there

  • What's the difference between a ported sub box and a sealed one? Besides the obvious, of course.

  • just something i didnt see mentioned about the caulk. if your finger is damp (not wet) when you spread the caulk it wont stick to your finger and you wont have to touch up any spots.

  • i have a ? , how can i find out about a refoaming kit for old HE2's , i have 2 comp 10's an they still work great but sooni would like to make them look new with foam

  • I'm applying cock to all the joints.

  • nice vid man,,,,,, where can i get the RTTI circle cutting jig

  • what size nails are you using to put the box together?

  • cutting the woofer hole should be the first step you do, not the 5th.

  • hey guys love your work, great guide is Jason filipino? where are you guys based?

  • hes applying cock. and afterwards hes just gonna stick his fingers in there and rub, make sure its just right.

  • hey can any one give me a link to making either a 12" sealed or ported subwoofer box thx

  • what up people? i have 2 10" cvr and i want to make a box for it. how big would i need to make it to get as much bass out of it as i can? its going in a 96 toyota camry. thanks

  • oh yes rub that cock thats right

  • 0:54 ummmm it's parallel to what?

  • lol 6:40 why u stoped the video

  • im take my fanger an rub the cauk so theres no air joints!!!!!!!

  • why dont you cut the woofer whole on the front pannel befor glueing it all together ?

  • hes gonna use his finger to rub the cock!! ahaha

  • "and then we will cock all of the joints"

"and then im going to take my finger and rub it..."

"NOW THE FIRST THING YOU WANT TO DO IS TAKE A 12 BLFHNSAGIMY AND MAKE SURJNIUOGTNEK IN CASE IT ISN'T PERFECTLY STRAIGHT."

    *turns speakers down*

"After you maiysure *YOUR WOOD*, you are going to insert it into the gap..."

:D Great video actually... I just couldn't help but make fun of some little quirks! :)

And don't take offense to what I said up there.. I am just kidding.

great vid, quality box, and good a mount of cock used ;)

All those people who say they could do better, by all means post a video reply.

  • i apply my caulk in a lot of joints too.

  • Comment removed

  • @driftuz that would be what's called a ported box. they require tuning and an actual tunnel to channel the air

  • @driftuz that would be ported then, this is a sealed box

  • wouldn't it be rather smarter to cut the woofer hole out before instead of doing that after sealing the complete box?

  • oh man havin the right tools is awesome.

  • are you doing this at the rockford corp in tempe?

  • just gona rub the cock

  • he applyed cock to that box lol

  • he applies cock to ALL the joints

  • very good

  • If you fire a box into the trunk instead of into the car, the trunk acts as a "bandpass" and gives you roughly +3dB depending on the vehicle

  • lol! he's gonna rub the cock with his finger!

  • just a quick question, but why did he put the sub woofer so it firers into the trunk and not into the back of the seat??

  • lol check what he says at 3:50 to 3:57

  • now that is a bad ass tip fellows

  • Like COCK

  • haha... step one... cut a hole in a box...

  • he said cock !

    i am so childish :)

  • he enjoys rubbing it.

  • he wasnt for from it the dude almost cats his fingers in 2:19

  • to bad he did not have the pro caulk

  • what do you think is stronger.. screws or the staples. or does it depend on if you are looking at sealed or vented. i would think that screws would wanna be used for higher powered woofers

  • If you would have watched the first video in this series you would have heard him say that it's actually the wood glue that holds the box together, not staples or screws. MDF doesn't hold screws or staples very well due to how it is made.

  • 3:51 Hes applying cock lmao...

  • and than he takes his finger and rubs it..

    Haha,, i lol'd

  • @qnzdrchulo lmao

  • @qnzdrchulo and then cock the back edge through the woofer hole... thats what she said.

  • i need more info on how to find the rtti circle cutting jig on the Rockford Fosgate website, if you could help me out please.

  • Would making the hole for the subwoofer after the box is built matter? Could you do it befor you put it together?

  • well yeh u can but it will be harder i no wat u tring 2 say iv built em b4 u see!

yooh need da right toolz really!

  • um the easy solution to his dangerous situation would be to use a miter gauge

  • A miter gauge does not always work in this situation because the piece we are cutting is longer than the miter gauge sled, which may cause the piece to slide, also by using this technique you can cut both sides exactly the same.

    thanks for watching

  • thats why you simply add a 2x4 for a longer miter gauge surface, and then just stack the pieces on top of each other

  • If that works for you then thats great. We just try to show what works for us. The method that we show is quick, safe and repeatable.

    thanks

  • wow.... Its called buy a larger mitre gauge.... NEVER freehand on a table saw.... you will end up getting a nice chunk of MDF stuck in your gut..

  • thats beautiful

  • 4:15

"we can caulk the back edge through the woofer hole"

  • I swear not one american owns a biscuit jointer.. i never understand why nobody uses one.. no need for holding a nail gun or anythin becuase the biscuit cuts make the mdf flush no problem.. plus they are jus as quick and easy to use without the price of a gun.. nice trick with the freehand angle btw

  • how much volume do you need for a slim 8?

  • applying cock to the joints haha

and yes i'm not dumb its spelt caulk :)

    just some humor :D haha

  • then he's gonna rub the cock so it fills all the cracks.

  • lol!!!!!!

  • how do you wire it?

  • yhjghjndgf

  • why not cut the hole first lol

  • aha i know thats fuckin retarded...

  • cause we a circle cutting jig

  • Nice workshop!!

I build my boxes at a friends work, they produce furniture.

Their table saw is really luxurious, digital adjustable angle on the sawblade. The left part of the saw is slideable, with angle adjustment too. So it's just perfect for building my speakers :D

Your trick for making the angle without cutting it freehand was nice too :)

  • these vids help so much

  • I know you guys make these quite a bit, and have lots of experience, but for first timers, you should check the clearance of the sub before you cut the hole out and caulk everything together, so just in case you do have a clearance issue with the sub, you can fix it before the box becomes permanent

    just a suggestion : )

    great vid btw

  • true, i just take the peice where the speaker mounts to and take the speaker and drop it in and see if it fits flush and theres not any gaps or anything where air can get threw.

  • that was a weak video why didnt you show the enclosure done with the sub in

  • This was the 2nd part of a 3 part series. If you take the time to watch part 3 you'll see the complete box carpeted with the woofer in it.

  • lol nice way to cut that piece out ima do that for the next box that i build

  • what is the name of the circle cutter they used?

  • the table saw?

  • no. he said it was a "RTTi circle cutter" or something like that any one know the name of it????

  • it's a rockford brand circle cutter that attaches to a router. I'd check the Rockford website if you're looking to buy it.

  • wonderfull
