Is the second layer needed? At first I thought it was because when that 2nd layer is grown it would show the underlining color, but then I found you could do it with out the other layer.

Oh that's not actually my mic.

The program that I used to record my screen has an option on there that adds a starburst to the mouse whenever I click so that it's easier to find where my mouse is located.

I've done this before and Never had to go through all of this. I've made many banners with text outlines and I always remembered it being a simple procedure like "highlight text" go to some option, then click "outline" or something.

You would have to do the same process over again and just change the color to black.
