i've only ever thought about the religious implications of this song before, but at 8 months pregnant i heard it on the radio and the dj pointed out that it's about becoming a parent. that changed it quite a bit for me. i don't honestly love the video, but the meaning of the song is one i can understand. i see that same look of wonder in my husbands eyes every time our baby girl kicks. it's awe inspiring realizing that we're about to bring a little life into the world.
