Great scene, I thought the the first 3 episodes of season 4 were amazing, they managed to get to you emotionally but they were not worth the death of Marissa.

@swannijerem it's only been 2 and a half years, actually. but they were definitely true love <3 although, I feel like they should have mentioned her more in the last episode of the series. There was the Marissa at the end of the driveway flashback but that's pretty much it. She deserved more remembrance than that.

@swannijerem well the show started the summer before their junior year & s3 ended at graduation so that's 2 years (which is weird, because wasn't the end of s1 the end of junior year? they messed up the time frame big time) . & then season 4 is 5 months later, so yeah.

But yeah, the scene in the driveway is so significant, I'm glad they put it there (: Ryan&Marissa forever. I think we can all agree that Mischa Barton is a bitch for leaving and acting like she was bigger & better than the O.C.

Actually, Josh Schwartz (the creator, e.p., etc) couldn't really make up his mind... So originally they were going to have them start off at junior year, but then some how managed to manipulate the plot so it was like the 1st season was actually sophomore year. They had a lot of flukes in that season trying to decide how old they all were & what grade they were starting.

I mean, I definitely do not think of them as sophomores any time during the show o.0 They're way too old for that, not even because of how the actors look, but how they act and all the experiences they've been through during that year. I'm just going to think of them as juniors lol - makes much more sense!
