i went to that resort and im from canada, and i gotta say that it was a beautiful place, and the resort was amazing :) nice people, good service, i would recommend it to everyone

I went there with a family member around the end of december for the New Years Hotel Party. A really amazing and nice resort. I'm going again this year around the same time, so if your thinking twice about planning to go there, Don't! It makes a great getaway for any type of group, couples, family or even friends. The rooms are all mostly ocean view and the service is magnificent. I recommend it. A great resort altogether, I can't wait to go back this season!

I have found that the best and cheapest way to get to this resort is fly Spirit Airlines out of Fort Lauderdale to Guatemala City.

While there see Antigua,Lake Atitlan,Chichi,etc and then rent a car and go a few days to stay at the Royal Decameron Salinas.

while there visit Apaneca in the mountains really beautiful

I have found that it is about the same distance to get there from Gautemala City than Comalapa,El Salvador.

and Spirit Airlines is soo cheap to Guatemala

Well, this place makes it look beautiful, but if you go to the city it's a different story. But yeah, it's indeed an amazing country nature-wise.

I'm glad they're building resort type hotels like this in El Salvador to compete with the rest of Central America.
