  • Fucking massive tune right here

  • so goooooood

  • I aint no pro on music genres, so don't kill me for saying this: But it feels like real chill, liquid jungle, it's a pretty sick combo (Y) anyone recommend any songs like "Dead Dread - Dread Base" please?

  • try raenon by photek

  • @marxistsoldier thanks for the reply, it's not as heavy as dead dread, but is like liquid you know, just real relaxed (Y)

  • try...

    JAZZ JUICE - Jazz Juice

    interception - strange people

    Interception - Ominous Clouds

dj nut nut - the rumble (open your mind remix)

Ruff and tumble crew / innocence

  • @marxistsoldier thanks man! i enjoyed the last two most out of all of them, but interception - strange people was a great tune as well! thanks again x

  • ouch! heavy business

  • busting the juice, rinse-out!

  • from these old school tunes is shining some kind of energy...i am addicted :D

  • @junglebeatz23 yeah man no doubt, theres something about these old tunes that's just lacking in the dance music of today... I put it down to over production.

  • @MightySpoone right man, put down the laptop and back away from the plug ins......

    ;0]

  • @MightySpoone

I concure, I loved the rawness and slightly rough sounding breaks back in the day and the over laying of differents beats and efx on them whereas alot of todays stuff and since the early 00's its been too over produced and samey. Jungle had many styles in it in the early 90s and it lost the break and chose the 2 step/ tech step direction and became too clinical. But still love it! ;-)

  • @MightySpoone yea man also hardware probably had a part to play I reckon, some of the classic samplers used back then almost had a soul of their own.

  • @MightySpoone i put it down to greed mate it's all about money these days

and wanting to get into the top 10 charts ..i hate mainstream music with a

passion it's watered down weak and has no soul just some shitty annoying

loops that purposely stick in your head :) nothing compares to the oldskool tunes

well....they say history repeats itself!! so i'm crossing my fingers :D

  • @truthfilter arent we all mate :)

  • @MightySpoone I'm not trying to start a youtube argument but i disagree i think it's due to under production the fact that u can spend a lot less time for a lot more results makes people less dedicated to working on one song for a time ... back then it was harder to make tht's for sure ... big up the old skl tho all the same!

  • @Insurgemusic

I Would say that both are right,There is a lot of current DnB Producers that throw Shit at the cloud, and many more that doesnt work so much in one production.

  • @Insurgemusic

Oh yes,not to mention some North american Jungle produtions that, although much tecnically advanced, doesnt have soul.

  • @eduds6 Yeah I agree it's like I'm just so excited to see what comes next tbh

  • @Insurgemusic

I also want to know it,theres a lot of Underground jungle producers at the world today,Eastern europe,UK,North America,France... We just need to wait and see what comes next, what they will change in the sound, where the next events will be thrown in...

    Peace.

  • @eduds6 I should probably find this myself but could you recommend a few to have a look at of the new stuff!?

    :)

  • @Insurgemusic

For more violent and Ragga Amens,i would recomend DJ Killa (Which has some cool and experimental tunes also),Krinjah,Bboy3000,Clip & Carbine... Many of them are from the Hardcore jungle and leading North american Label,N20 Records. Their current ragga sound has pushed the Amen breaks even beyond the limit,so its easy to you find many 180bpm tunes and very distorted amens along with some Drum n Bass elements. This kind of style and artists can easily be found in ...

  • @Insurgemusic

    R a g g a j u n g l e . c o m (leave the spaces between the letters),and R a g g a j u n g l e . b i z.

If you are looking for more sober Amens, less violence and ragga shouts, more oriented to the oldschool jungle sciene,i could say to you look for some underground UK Artists, such as DJBazia (Which has some tunes and podcasts),or Warped Dinamics (A Duo from london, they have a underground label, search for it in discogs). There is also a Chilly and more Sci-Fi Jungle sound coming

  • @Insurgemusic

Out,they are more suited to a chilly ambient and abstract sound, but it has a strong jungle percussion and bass. This is the genre that i most like into current jungle, from artists such as Equinox,Nebula,Seba,Dub One,and many others. These limited artists currently produces and release vinyl in two major labels,Subtle audio and Scientific wax.

Although this is not all that i know, but the rest can be easily found with some searches in google or even Jungle-Nu rave related sites.

  • @Insurgemusic

To finish, sorry for separating the posts so much. Sadly Youtube doesnt permit long comments.

  • @MightySpoone Or, lack of production as the case may be eh mate!

  • @MightySpoone .....Every producer is too concerned with how polished and current their tunes are, and all the life and fun has been sucked out of everything. Also I have a theory that the ease of use when it comes to software sequencers and samplers, has decimated the process they used to go thru to recognize quality in their samples and sounds.

  • @junglebeatz23 and rawness, bruv.
