@mjrj Thanks for watching, The chords for the end are already listed in the comments, I wont be listing them again. I wouldn't even know where to begin telling you how to strum the end bit. Never really thought about it to be honest! I would say the best way to learn this is by watching a video of me playing it which is exactly what you are doing. I am glad you enjoyed the song. John

You have a good voice. I just don't understand why you go all Smashing Pumpkins when you sing "I'm in the middle of your picture", it's really contrasting to how you sing the rest of the song. Just smooth it out and you'll get an A+ ;)

Im teaching myself to play, and yes, i always try to do more than i can, the first 2 songs i learned to play were karma police and street spirit..jeje, but ive learned how to play ur version except for that part, i just cant get it right, i could do it like "nonsoloking" but your version sounds much better, thats why im bothering you, maybe to much sorry, and thanks for taking the time to answer me

the chords look like C, G, Em? but what are the transitions to get the synth sound? thanks

At the beginning I play a C power chord and the open G string. The I move the C down to a B and play open E B and G

You got the chords right

C then I flick of the G down to Em

From the Em I play a B note to go to the G

Then you pick the open D to go back up the C

The end is the same cept on the C you add an F on the top E and a Bb on the B sting. On the Em and G you just hammer on and off the Bb.

I am rubbish at explaining stuff like this, hope it helps.

might you mean F# on the top E and C on the B string (Bb on the B string is the 11th fret!!)

As far as I can make out for the end you're playing x32032 then C just for a bit before 022010 (022000), 320010 (320000) then back to the x32032 chord. Am I right?
