@donnyp1966 - Thanks! When I was a kid in the 1970's, my father would always have Gordon Lightfoot playing on the 8 track for our family trips in the old Chevy. That was back when we were all still on The Summer Side of Life.
superdick305. I had a car just like the convertable ,except not a convertable. 400 smallblock would rappp like a big dogg. had 3.73 gears . man I loved big red, to bad she took a beaten by 4 cars in the derby. bunch a sheetsee's gang banged me in the feature. Ha! Ha! Ha! they were scared of her !!!
i would seriously have a heart attack walking through there.... all those old parts... id be foaming through the mouth lol.... if i won the lottery id be all over every single car and the parts... moslty parts.
Vermont salts the hell out of the roads. But not to worry, there isn't another junkyard that compares to this anywhere, even in temperate climates like Arizona. A lot of this stuff has been here for 20 years plus. There is at least $20 million dollars worth of parts here, and someone can steal it all for $1.6 million. You can see more of the place in the October 2005 issue of Hemmings Muscle Machines Magazine, and the November 2008 issue of Car Collector magazine.
Just came back from Vt. and Eastern NY. I would of stopped! I see a Malibu Classic at 11 sec. I have a '77 Malibu Classic 2 dr. Silver in mint shape, gee too bad. Someone is missing out, they could have a cruiser car! I know many of those were used for stock car racing. Good slideshow!
Reminds me when I was young walking through old junk yards wondering what cool things I would find. Not many yards will let you do that now these days.
Hey do you sell any of those beauties I would hate to see them go to waste
