Paul = "good works" are what Jesus asked people to do after becoming a Christian. They were NOT attached to Salvation. Two seperate things. The example for this is = the thief on the cross. He watched Jesus and heard the words of Jesus, they spoke and the thief recognized the Triune God. Jesus told him his = FAITH is what would take him into Heaven. And Jesus had the authority to make that promise come true. Good and moral works were something God commands those to do who accept His teachings.

Beck is worried considering the 33 major sponsors who will no longer run ad's during his show. Pundits say this may not matter, but when you lose the advertising dollar of Walmart, which is the largest retailer in the entire world, I'd say that means something.

The answer to his first question was pretty simple: because we need to fix health insurance now. Mega insurance companies are running wild and screwing the consumers, and the patients literally left to die.
There's no "new" or "old" republic. The only people afraid of making improvements are the companies that are making windfall profits from the current insurance system.
