  • I cannot describe how much I love this video! Watching you create and hearing you tell a story in the background! It is just perfect Niel!

  • Lovely tiny creatures! All your pictures have their own character. Every beetle and spider you have your character. I'm glad! :)))

  • hi Neil, hope u get well soon... wish I was there to see them little faces too..

  • i love watching you paint as well as listening to you...it's so relaxing and such an enjoyment! i hope you get well! this is definitely a beautiful piece. :)

Well, thankyou very much. Coming from you that is a compliment to have. :)

Well, I made an error, the camera was too high so 80% of the video looked like a frightening spider was in the camera. My raggedy hair & masses of it.

However...It kind of goes against spontaneity of chinese painting though I did really enjoy creating it. I try to do at least one exercise a day.

    best wishes always.

  • Love your naration Neil, felt like I was there too. Get well friend. :)

Hey, how are you. I am just getting back in tune with Birds. Free again now from constant attacks , I think I have met the worst monsters society scourges from the depths this last year. :o)

However. My brushes age with me. I need to learn my Yang O-shi birds once more. I saw an owl that was quite cute & a sketch & also about four others in all styles including Spontaneous. This is my inspiration on them.

  • So darling! I love them! Get well soon Niel! Hugsss!

So gorgeous... I love them too! :o) It took a while and the eyes despite their simplicity took me three tries. But I learn. So I self-excuse. Heh! Hugs and kisses sweetheart, catch you soon. xx

  • Just lovely : )

Your videos are very peaceful and nice to watch, thank you.

Well, I am on a path and that path sometimes is rough & unclear. Despite that now and then I have to cut my own way through tangles, I still find myself on the right path, 'just that, sometimes, the weeds cut and pull me off course so many times. My Garden is completely weeded. There are few flowers. Of these each one worth the the journey to see it. And that's my life now.

  • Beautiful piece of art with stunning details ! May I ask how much time it took you to make this specific piece ? As something even close{yet on a lower level} to this would take me around 6 hours of constant work (although I cannot use a brush and ink , I`m more used to charcoal and graphite)

  • @Scriblium "Beautiful piece of art with stunning details! May I ask how much time it took you to make this specific piece ? "

Well, It IS spontaneous in creation, which means its done on the spur with a simple demand for it to roughly resemble what inspired me initially. So if detail makes reference to impact, that's good. It took about 3 hours. But them I'm sick. So stumbling at every turn. Half of this is Ink Making remember. I only do this in the most traditional Chinese manner. Best Wishes.
