  • if i wanted to do this, but in a dome shaped tin, would it take longer or would there be a different oven method to bake it to make sure the middle is cooked and the outsides not burnt?

  • I made this recipe, with not enough butter. The dough ended up to be too soggy. I added about a tablespoon of flour and it became to thick to the eye ( Stupid me ) and I added another tablespoon of milk and now it's too fluid again, it's in the oven now :L We'll see if it works!

    hmm I was wondering the same thing. I do know that pouring chocolate chip cookie dough in a pan instead of shaping it into balls will form a cake that my family cuts into bar cookies. Also the method she used was the same as how you make most cookies.

    mixed spice is a mixture of cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and allspice. combination of spices needed for christmas pudding like: pumpkin pie, eggnog and gingerbread men etc...

    do not get confused with allspice, ok.

    @Titli: Just wondering, is there a reason why we need to fold in the dry ingredients instead of using the mixer? Does it make it softer/spongier?
