I've seen friends that were "Down in Hole" and they weren't saved. I've been there too so it's not hopeless. If you can't do/afford rehab go to a methadone clinic and try to get off that shit. It will take the edge off. I'm not saying by any means it will be easy b/c it isn't but at least you've started digging out of that hole. Find a good support group. I love AIC and really miss Layne. I know he wanted to get better but that shit catches you before you konw it.
