The whistle he uses to get the highest pitch notes is via bottom lip to front teeth. It requires a special shape to your front teeth though. I can do it pretty easily but I can get to a much higher note than him, I could only find out I can make this note when I whistled next to my dog once and he reacted to it like a dog whistle. I would say mine is around 17.5khz high.

Actually, yes, there's something hit on the keyboard and I'm no professional, but I can do this also. It involves a specialized whistle with my front teeth, which makes a dramatic pitch increase.... beyond what I am able to easily hear. I buy it.
