May is what makes me watch this movie over and over again. I also like the sound track. Sophie Okenedo is one of the under rated actresses who needs to be offered more roles. The two I saw her in was great. I can't remember the name of the picture but it was about racism in her family (father want her to get with white skin african and her school wouldn't accept her because she a too dark to be white africian

She kills herself by lying in the river and placing a rock over her chest so she drowns, it sounds sad in the book, but when you see it in the movie, you will cry.
