  • Such great memories! One of the first cassettes I got after getting saved.

  • Many people either don't realize or just don't know, that many of the world's famous Christian Music stars got their start in White Heart (no kidding). The band had seen so many changes over the years.

  • God I love the 80's!

  • Dann Huff solos are the best <3

  • @jampants1 That's cool, I started listening about 11 years ago, when I was 12.

  • This is from the Album Powerhouse.

  • I forget - what album is this song from?

  • They just have a real clean sound and sound lyrics.

  • Love this song and Love White Heart...Have been listening to them since I was a kid

  • I've been listening to bands like White Heart and Petra since I was little fart and I'm 13 now. My dad has a good taste in music. Happy Fourth, everybody! :3

  • Reminds me of when i used to raid my parent stapes and listen to Petra, White Heart, Carmen, and all the old school bands...sweet nostalgia...its been years but the effect is still just as powerful.

  • @notmaggot007 Heck yes!!! I used to listen to all my dad's "cassette tapes", he still has every one of their albums! Rock on Whiteheart!

  • @jampants1 Wouldn't really call them the best ever, but still they're both pretty good bands....Certainly better than the shit that passess as rock in the mainstream these days...Too bad people think Christian rock sucks after hearing shitty bands such as Skillet,Creed,POD,As I Lay Dying etc.

  • Hey, the gentleman in the video depicting the man who's wrestling with addictions and having family problems looks very much like the drummer for Degarmo and Key in another video on YouTube. (You can get a look at him at the channel titled "degarmoandkey" in the video titled "Don't Stop The Music." Good shot of him at the end. Anyone who can ID this guy? Just curious.

  • this is one of my favorite songs and videos of all times(minus the french subtitiles)

  • @jampants1 that's really good man, for your age is something really rare.

  • Oh thank you for posting this song! I saw this band probably 20 times and still love them so much! Really would like to find a copy of More Sold Out!

  • Could I ask everyone here to pray for me? I keep making the same mistakes and I need prayer. I've asked for forgiveness, but I'm afraid I'll just end up doing it again.

  • @classicrockrockz Just did! We've all been there, you're just a little more honest than some of us.

  • @classicrockrockz Just repent and trust Jesus he will give you the power to live a holy life he loves God bless.

  • great music!!!

  • Highly under rated band!!!! I remember growing up in a Christian home, and listening to them in my walkman as a young kid in the early 90s! Good memories!!!!!

  • Who says christain music is weak and sleepy???Theses guys ROCK!!!!

  • Whiteheart. Incredible band.

  • @marcriven THANKS A LOT A VEEEERY MUCH!!!!!!!

  • Classic Christ rock at its best---i've been jamming to them for 20 years

  • does any one have this song's lyrics.i've been searching it for ages.i loooooove this song.its very inspirational.reminds me of my past.

  • this is my favourite band.i specially like this song and heaven of my heart and climb the hill (piano piece),no taboo and convertibles.

  • Thank you for posting this song. This is my favorite song tradition to play while watching the fireworks every 4th of July.

  • Anyone know what album this song's from?

  • @shym0nk3y I think it's from Power House.

  • grew up with this stuff, i still love it!

  • so true... love these guys for a long long time too!! Learrus obv. also has good taste ;-)

  • WH - AWESOME BAND!!

  • @ETHANALISONEDWARDS The lead singer is from the South Bend, In area and went to Taylor University. WH came to Taylor several times in late 80's and I was fortunate to seem them perform. I would put them up against many secular bands and they would hold their own. THey are a great band.

  • What aggravates me is when people choose the secular stuff over the Christian stuff. When you really listen to the music, it is exactly the same musical style, but with positive lyrics. I think it is just that people are to narrow minded and do not want to expand themselves beyond the secular music scene.

  • Great song!

  • Anthony Sallee on Bass

  • S'ok rockgirl, but now quite my style. You see, this makes you want to dance... but my favorite worship music makes you want to fall down and give thanks unto our Lord. Hard to explain... I am not going to call this bad, but rather not hear it in a church service.

Hope that makes sense, rather than war

  • Loved these guys since I was about 6; still love them now, one of the few bands that just stands the test of time through 100% Pure Awesome Power,

  • I love them too, I wish they could get back. Everything on their band is great. I miss it very much.

  • @hugobeyer I agree! I think they should reunite as well as Petra and go on tour for a big christian rock super show!

  • Man they are so awesome! That guy can belt, man. Love his voice

  • agreed!

  • These guys are still the best!!! I have all of their albums and when I need my Whiteheart fix, I come here. They still minister for Jesus, even in November 2009.

  • Whiteheart: pure soul!

  • I saw them years ago, and there wasn't a single piece of scaffolding that Rick didn't climb. That guy was all over the stage!

  • I have been listening to Whiteheart for 20 years. They have great vocals and a heart for the lost.

  • These guys make up one of the greatest Christian Rock Bands of all time. Whether in concert or listening to them on CD, their music is fantastic.

  • This is really the only song I liked by White heart, the y are a talented bunch, just not my style. But this song is great!!!

  • Talk about a great bunch of talented musicians. Song writing, execution, production... all fantastic.

These guys were really a good band. WTG guys!

    Thanks for posting.

  • If your gonna put down whiteheart then dont watch them they love what they do and rick is a very good dancer and singer.

  • "and takes his walk VERY seriously!!!! "

His walk doesn't look very serious to me.

  • Im not a WH fan, but this song rocks. Great pop and passion..

  • This song says is it all.

  • I like what you had to say! you have a good heart for God! :-) and thank you for standing up for Whiteheart!!! I, too, am a fan and love them!!! They are all very nice guys!

  • he was just high on God and dancing in the spirit not to mention how much this song rocks!

  • you obviously don't know Rick (the lead singer) and the band! how inappropriate for you to say such a thing about such a good man! Rick really loves Jesus and takes his walk VERY seriously!!!!

  • then why did you come here. Perhaps you need to brake the chains that bind you.

  • Rick has such powerful vocals! I love his voice!!!

  • i used to love this band when i was growing up, they were one of the band s that really helpd me through a rather difficult time, petra and world wide message tribe too. thanks so much for uploading this, it has made my day

  • Got see them in Concert in Lakeland Fla back in 1985 ! They were a great band!

  • Absolutely.. freedom from ourselves is a very good message. This is one of the reasons why I've so appreciated White Heart through the years (they're still my all time fave) .. always a strong message through their songs, and fun/good musicianship as well!

  • this is a meaning ful song

if u listen carefully word by word

    'course im a christian

    and i luv this song

  • The intro sounds very much like the Monkey Island theme song.

  • A devout atheist with a love for great songs and songwriting says....

    This is a great song.

Popular music for christians has a long history of producing great artists (and, like secular music, a long history of producing profoundly bad ones). If you hold that every 'christian' song must be ministry oriented, you not only deny yourself the talents your people have to offer, but you also put into question the idle words of your own mouths, and the value of your non-ministry related deeds.

  • Hey thevm,

Your are so right. Too bad many other chrsitians dont understand exactly that!

  • Wow, this song is awesome and yes, I AM a christian! :)

  • Does the singer think he's David Lee Roth? For Christians that don't know he is.He use to be the singer for Van Halen!

  • Sorry were not running with the devil here. We are talking about love, and Billy Smiley can Jump.

  • almen thats all ima say thats all that should be said

  • I went to one of their concerts looonnnggg time ago......

I wanted to hear this song......saddly......I wasn't lucky enough...

  • they ghd a good song called "the cry"

  • Very inspiational song!

  • i would like to comment on the person who said that they hate christians.first of all,i don't know any christian that wouldn't give their life just to see somone like you give their life to the lord.JESUS so loved the world that he gave his very life to save you and i,so that we would not have to suffer GOD'S eternal wrath.he never hated so why would you hate someone?

  • anyone know where i can get the lyrics to this song, or anyone have them?

  • Let my idols tumble down!!!!

  • even though i hate christians and religion, this song is pretty amazing.

  • I hate religion too, but I don't hate Christians for I am one. Christianity is not a religion. Religion is mans attempt to earn favor with God, Christianity is responding in faith to what God has done for us through His son Jesus Christ. I am a lowly sinner needing salvation for my sin. I found it in Jesus Christ, the one and only savior of the world. I can only tell you that Jesus loves you more than you hate me. I don't hate you back.

  • they were such a great band. Check out skillet best band in the world

  • The guitar work on this album was some of the best I've ever heard from a Christian rock band - Powerhouse was an amazing album - every song a total inspiration - never quite caught their depth again after this....

  • This new Praise Hero(Christian Guitar Hero) has Chris Tomlin but NO! White Heart. What are tinking game disigners! Thats why I'm not going to spend $100 on it.

  • Yep, I agree!! Today's christian rock bands are lame both musically and lyrically. They'll never measure up to groups like Whiteheart, Petra, Whitecross, Idle Cure and a whole lot of others...

  • Do you think a lot of the bands today that are considered Christian, are ashamed to declare their faith through their music? I've heard many a Christian Metal band mention not wanting to get too preachy. I think thats quite sad. Jesus Christ is Lord.

  • Well said. Not get too "preachy?" What's the point, then? I recently bought an album that was marketed as Christian. Nice songs, nice melody, nice messages, but not one word about God or Jesus or faith. You could infer a spiritual meaning if your were so minded, but if you were not a Christian you could listen to it as an album of romantic love songs, and songs about life. I think sometimes new artists try to break into the secular mainstream by using contemporary Christian music. Sad.

  • just curious...what album was it?

  • On the other hand, many are put off by the drum/amplification of modern pop/rock itself. Tourniquet and the 77s have lyrics which are crystal clear as to the meaning. Yet these bands came in for criticism for the loudness and style.

  • I had no idea that Whiteheart made older videos.

  • Oh my goodness! I have not listened to this song in such a long time. I really miss Whiteheart. I wish there were more bands like them today. I also wish more bands would have lyrics as powerful as their's. Thats one thing that is lacking in today's music.

  • rofl!!!RICK FLORIAN IS MY UNCLE!

  • Christian I met them once they are so awsome.

Listen closly to this song it could change your life!!

    GOD LOVES YOU!!!!

  • christian or secular, this is one of the best rock bands ever!!

  • you can be proud of him. a great singer. a great band.

  • THATS MY UNLCE (Rick Florian the lead singer)

  • Why did he quit singing?

  • Awesome singer your Uncle, and he is fun to watch as he dances around. ;p lol Did he want to be a dancer too? j/k love whiteheart. This is my fave song by them.

  • One of the best rocksongs ever written. I miss these guys when I look at CCM today. Who else can write such powerful songs?!

  • They Rock man don't know why they broke up

  • Saw them three times in San Antonio. They're awewsome!!

  • who me can pass the video? I leave my msn martin_linkinpark42@

  • god this song is the very best !

  • Fantatastic - makes me thank God for my independance day!

  • Amen!!!

  • I loved "God Made Convertibles"

  • Whiteheart was one of the greatest 80's/90's Christian artists out there... I wish they were still around rocking out...

  • great guys, im really happy to see some people liking white heart in these days, I love this band...

  • that is awesome praise God!! I had a Christian Rock band that did some of thier songs.

  • Desert Rose please check my video

  • I love Whiteheart. Moreso, their rock ballads than there heavier tracks, though. This is a great one, but I'm more inclined to pop in, say, "Once and For All" or "Desert Rose".

    Awesome stuff here, nonetheless.

  • NICE!!!

  • That was awesome! Whiteheart is an incredible Christian rock band! I love the 80s sound! Rock on for Jesus! :-)
