Yes, "free" childcare, get those parents all out to work... Don't worry, nanny state will have the "community" raise your children, and of course instill them with the right ideals and goals... You can just put them to bed at night...

Here is an idea, stop borrowing money at interest, all those billions saved will invigorate the economy if injected INTO it instead of lining already exceptionally rich pockets... Just an idea...

Do you know the economic mess Spain is in ? Would you care to explain why the average public sector air traffic controller earns £170k per year, and with overtime last year, 20% of them earned over £800k ? Just google "Spain air traffic controller pay".

The difference between the UK and Spain is that on the one hand we have introduced austerity measures that the market are accepting, whilst on the other hand Spain has chickened out of such measures and is calling an election instead - which has spooked the markets.

Have you looked at the difference in yields between Spanish gilts and UK gilts ?

I doubt you are even aware of this - let alone understand it.
