    u have to beatmatch

half the time wen ur cuing the vinyl the basterd needel skips (speeks from experence)

and if u have a warped record it ever spins to fast or dosent spin atall

plus u have to learn how to mix, different types of mixing for diffo genras

  • Wanna say respect for that man, Makes me wanna pull out my Gabba collection.

Took me back to my Gabba Techno days in Brixton and Vauxhall.

Long live Planet FM and Hellraiser:))

    Skippy:))

  • indeed to each there own :)

  • nice one!! always a fan of techno no matter what kind it is !!!!

  • Dj Tutor, what do you think about Leigh touching the platter and record?

  • At the end of the day we all have our oun technique, I just find mine to work better for me. Any way is ok, but it does look more professional if you don't touch the platter.

  • Also a good point in using pitch is that no matter what is put in front of you you can use it. Turntable or cd-player if it has pitch you already know how to operate. Just my 2cents here.

  • also a lot of the time the track he was mixing in was already at almost +8% pitch anyway, so sometimes the only way to catch up is to touch the platter by hand
