Ah, those were the days! If anybody sang/said anything during the gabba-songs, it would always be aqbout something criminal, sick or blasphemic. So it was great fun, hehe! I almost get a flashback and go high again by listening to this, dudes!:)
puttin coins on ur needle only works if u av big fat cartridges n wears ur needles out way faster.try given em a good clean n adjustin height etc.if its only few records that do it spend time playin n rewindin ova were it jumps.....maybe bit a shite in the grooves
This is gabba, back when it first came about, still with the happy hardcore kinda basslines! Gabba these days is still good, but this is where it all came from. And from this came speedcore, terrorcore etc etc
Yeah, I'm pretty sure the last Gabba I heard was a bit more darker than this, this doesn't quite peel your face off like Gabba should! Any suggestions of good Gabba DJs I should check out?
yes gabba was mid to late 90's but its still being made to this day.... the dutch fookin love and so do i!!!!! makes that happyhardcore stuff look like bubblegum nursey ryhmes
lol to all the disbelivers... this is real gabba ... yes its pitched up like a bad boy ... and yes you probably never heared n e thing like it in yo mo lives ... i just riped the intro off fo my own tune so all stfu and stand rdy gos gabba is here, has all ways been (since when ever) and will allways be (untill then)and will fuck all yo chilldren!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i'll post link of tune as soon as i have finished it ..
i was into this form of techno back in the mid 90's but i grew out of it, now i love minimal technn, from dj's like richiew hawtin, daniel bell and robert hood, superb techno it is.
The gabba scene is a bit older then th mid 90's, more are around 92/93 rotterdam style! Even in '95 in the UK gabba was still very underground. The germans and dutch were years ahead of the game!
I listened to this shit back in the early 90s. I would go to clubs in Edinburgh, take some X and dance my fucking arse off. Then I would take home a male or female to shag.
Next time i chat to the brother in law i will ask him for a trak listing,i may even be able to get him to post it for you in the comments! thanks , johnathan
thank fuk for the deathchant mix i have a BIG collection of them however i dont have this record right ima have 2 show you how i mix this stuff wait til i get home from work and dats it
If it ain't dutch, it ain't much!! Haha jks jks i love all genre's of dance music but gabber makes up the majority of my vinyl collection. Nice mix! :D
At the end of the day we all have our oun technique, I just find mine to work better for me. Any way is ok, but it does look more professional if you don't touch the platter.
Also a good point in using pitch is that no matter what is put in front of you you can use it. Turntable or cd-player if it has pitch you already know how to operate. Just my 2cents here.
