@Crazylegs973 It really depends on the ARF and your skill level. An typical ARF should be completed between one evening and several evenings, depending on your skill level.

heres a silly question .. will the retact system from this plane fit in the previous offering. the 60 size one that i now have and if so .. where and when can i buy them for the upgrade
Nice! im thinking about getting one! If it flys like a "Pussy Cat" i want one lol! must fly pretty nice to make a statment like that. ill probley but a OS 91 surpass, and hook it up to my DX6i but im gonna need a few "y" harnesses.
If your talking about the new H9 P51 I think you'll find it will be very enemic with an OS 91. You should think about using an OS 120 4 stroke. Then you'll have plenty of power for any situation you may encounter.
Manually for nitro unless you trim your throttle to fully close the carb. Gas engines with ignition can be done from the radio, not sure about ones without igniton though.
What about the tail wheel? Doesnt seem to rectract along with main ones, anyone noticed they did not mention it? 4stars lovely plane to me though, might consider it.
Great looking model! You guys have nearly convinced me to buy and build as a fuel model with the Gas engine comment! Will give it serious consideration when it hits the shelves!!!
Im on a Parkzone corsair now and im really having trouble decding weather to go nitro or stay electric i want to go nitro but i was nervous on my corsair maiden emagine how nervous i would be on a H9 P51D .60 ARF maiden!. But if i go nitro i'll get a H9 P51 mk2 PTS can you do a video on that plz!!!!!!!
I felt that way when I went from GWS warbirds to my first H9 .60 P-51. Compared to my bl GWS P-51, the H9 flew like a trainer. Bigger is easier to fly.
I had a Saito .91 in my H9 but really got turned off with nitro. You need to clean off the residual fuel, it ruins the covering, it soaks into the balsa, and you need to carry the field equipment. Gas is a good option since it's cheap compared to nitro. The Zenoah fits a budget but is a little big, the Saito FG20 seems pricey but lipo's will add up and you can't fly for 40 minutes with electric.
If you're on a budget a 6S setup with 80 amp esc would be good. If you go with an 8S setup you'll need a high voltage esc which gets pricier, not to mention paying for the extra cells. I would suggest slightly smaller cells for 8S. eg, I use TP 3850mah packs in 7S.
I have a question. How long, on average, does it take to put together an ARF?

I like how H9 have gone out on a limb with the scale element, now if they can do that to the existing Spitfire, I'm sold.

We'll see what we can do there. In the meantime check out the footage we have on the YouTube page with the original PTS. They fly fairly similarly.

very nice model! You so few views, why don't you link from your various web sites to YouTube?

We do actually. Sometimes the delay is a little longer due to production time from our developers. But everything on YouTube is also on our sites.

I would buy one if it were RTF electric!
gator966 2 years ago
Well you are going to have to buy it then, everything needed to mount up the electric is included.

if i were to convert this to electric, what battery should i use?
horizonflyer9 2 years ago
The battery is going to be a 6-8S 5000mah lipo with E-flite Power 90 amd 60 amp ESC
Jimnie1 2 years ago
Pretty much spot on. Looks like they're recommending 2 5000mAh 4-cell/4S Thunder Power Packs (THP50004SP30) to make the single 8S pack.
