@SgtZaqq Funny thing, I remember seeing you saying this a few days ago and laughed. Then I happened upon reading up the song on wikipedia. It's actually a sequencer that's used, not him playing bass. On the actual song too, not just live.
@aGWARslave No, he doesn't play the bass because there is no original bassline in the song, what you hear is a sequencer emulating a bass, just pay atention to the sound in the original track and you'll see that it is digital.
Get the CD - pop it in your player, sit back and be blown away by what you've been missing - I reckon I hadn't listened to Presto for 7 or 8 years until a coupla weeks ago - hooked now! (Took a few weeks for it to sink in back in '89 but then kinda forgot about it)
Roll the Bones is also underrated - was maybe a bit too 'pop' when it came out for many Rush fans but now it stands head and fucking shoulders above the shite being pumped into the mainstream now.
@heashon2000 I liked Rush but didn't really get into them until right before this album was released so this was the first new Rush album I got to experience. I loved it at first mainly for that reason but I actually don't think it's that bad or that good. It's got some good stuff and it's definitely listenable. I was also fortunately enough to see them on this tour. Mr Big opened for them and it was an amazing show.
One of my favorite songs for drumming. The whole album is awesome too.

@SgtZaqq I dunno, I just thought he just had it recorded and had it playing in the background. Guess it was recorded to begin with

Grew up on Presto, it was my intro to Rush. 20 years later it's still my fave Rush album. Genius.

If anyone has noticed, Neil uses some of this for his drum solos recently Live.

So what is this, a recording from a practice session? I don't remember them playing this song on that tour, and I went in hoping that they would!
Thanks for the vid, either way.
