Derrick played 16 in that game and had 9 points 4 rebounds and a block. How much time a player spends on the floor affects their stats, or maybe that concept eludes you, lols. The more time Derrick gets, the more he gets comfortable and has more time to hone his skills.

favors is a freak athlete...please stop trying to compare him to the best center in basketball and probably the best dunker. @TheMC00 nigga i'm 5'6" and i can touch rim, but i CAN'T dunk. dunking is much much more difficult than people assume, if your a guy that can dunk every time the ball comes to you than you are extremely talented and nba worthy, but that's an unbiased opinion considering we're only talking about a players ability to dunk instead of their overall talent. basically, dunking's hard! i'd like to see you do it lol

right now the only problem with the trade is that new jersey wants melo to promise them he will resign after the season ends. as a nuggets fan, it all depends on how this guy, derrick favors, will do in the NBA. if he becomes the star hes expected to be, ill love it since we have him, a great defender in kirilenko, and two first round picks. if he ends up being a bust...ill be angry

@RazaIsCool well, it almost goes without saying that Nuggets will try to do a sign and trade right? sign the 65 million extension I mean. Because it just doesn't make sense if he doesn't, the Nets will be trading for a player that will stay their for a year otherwise.

i was really sad when i realized carmelo was going to leave this summer, but this totally makes up for it. denver gets kirilenko too, we can finally play some defense.
i hope this trade goes through, i was always envious of teams with high draft picks, now we get one!

im a die hard nets fan too but i doubt he would help us enough too make it to the playoffs the east keeps getting tougher and tougher while the west gets worst carlos boozer leaving the jazz amare leaving the suns melo's about to head east ect this makes me sigh its gonna take at least 2 years before these young nets players develop
