@VincentVindicated if a weapon is designed to give an edge to crappy players that same advantage transfers to the decent players. At the same time finding a weapon an irritation is nothing to do with skill. Nobody is invincible we all die, whenever i died on gears 1 or 2 i would look at what i did wrong and try to remedy it in future but not much can be done if some scrub manages to get close enough and pull a trigger. It requires no skill, aiming or timing. And my kd was 3.1 on the beta.

@ajadepoju If your K/D is a 3.1 then apparently you don't die very often in the game and it shouldn't be a problem. More players use the Gnasher and most kills with the SoS are because a Gnasher user bum rushes them. Epic even made a huge light appear on the SoS so it's easy to identify. I had a 2.6 K/D I beleive, but my friends (that typically have 1.1 K/D) played on my account and lowered it a bunch lol.

@ajadepoju Don't get me wrong dude, I complelty understand and I even agree to an extent. Id proabably rather not have it in the game BUT I just don't think it will ruin the gameplay as much as you are saying. Their is still plenty of other great things in the game and I'm sure there will be people organizing Ghasher only play. Like I said though, I understand.. I've been a Gears Vet since the first instalment so I know how fun a gnasher vs gnasher is and skill gaps.

I doubt Epic was thinking about MLG while making GOW3. They're all about making a profit & not about professional gaming. Also all you kids need to quit bitchin about the DBS. To be honest the Gnasher Shotgun is better than the Sawed-off Shotgun because of how much ammo you can have while sawed-off is only 1 shot. Dont get me wrong you can get a Double or even a triple kill with one shot but relying on luck and for 2-3 people to be in the same spot so you can kill them doesnt get you too far when trying to get your K/D ratio up or trying to win a match.
