1. i work 35 hours a week

2. in a band and i play keyboard

3 want to become a studio drummer for myself really

4 19 years almost 20 don't play drums

5. What kind of starter kit should i get that is going to sound great and also how man hours should i practice a day to get going on the fast track.

it all depends on the amount of money you spend man.

yamaha and pearl make really solid drum sets that you can get good on.

play simple beats until you get really good at them and work up.

you'll want to play crazy stuff and you'll be just good enough to play complex beats but if you try and skip the fundamentals you will ruin yourself.

practice whenever you have the creative energy.
