Nice video with a lovely song to go with it. However, the photos at 3:55 and 4:15 are Marilyn impersonators, not the real deal! Many Marilyn fans (myself included) have literally seen hundreds of photos of her, so we can quickly spot the fakes.
@csdr0 I seriously doubt the picture at 3:55 is Marilyn. I've read dozens of books about her, containing hundreds of pictures. I've also viewed some quality tribute sites with hundreds of her pictures, too. Not once have I encountered the photo mentioned. Logic and reasoning tells me if that were Marilyn, that photo would have already appeared in all sorts of media with captions and explanations of its origin. Don't tell me it's rare, either. It can't be if it easily appears in a YouTube video.
@csdr0 Sorry, I don't know. You might want to google "Marilyn impersonator" and maybe that lady and her name will appear. Anyway, Marilyn is an icon. She inspires a lot of imitators. She didn't invent curly blonde hair, red lipstick, and form-fitting dresses, but she made that look her own, so much that it will be forever associated with her.
Isnt it ironic how most people starve themselves to look more "beautiful" but Marilyn Monroe is considered the beautifulest women ever and she was a size 16.
To solve aguments that may occur because of this message, she was size 14 in her time, which is the eqivelent to a size 16 now.
Let's put this false rumor to rest. In 2009, a fashion editor tried on some of Marilyn's costumes and clothes from a collection. She reported that Marilyn was probably a size 8 in her prime. During those times when Marilyn was a little plump, she was no more than a size 10. I always thought Marilyn was curvy in her bosom and hips, but she was NEVER obese.
@DeeDeeHoneybee, she was during the filming of "Lets make love." Although in that film she looks very voluptuous and sexy although plump. She was reportedly pregnant. Her boobs were biggest during that period and her face so cute. Yet she was still very beautiful despite her weight.
Absolutely lovely video, music very emotional. I got a little teary eyed. So many sides to Marilyn, all beautiful. My favorite pic is at 2:32. I thought she loved just as beautiful without makeup as with it. I'm sorry but DiMaggio did not deserve her. He slapped her around, despicable. She was kind to everyone and they took full advantage. She now rests in peace.
Her life was the stuff legends are made of. If she would have lived she wouldnt have become what she is today. I always loved her. Since I was a little girl. She was the most beautiful woman I ever saw. I liked her clothes, her look, her magic and her irreplaceable smile!
@Cili1958, She has no family - that's the first and foremost reason. The family is the bedrock of all support groups. Second she wanted more from her career but she was not taken as a serious dramatic actor. She was desired by men whom she also desired but who don't want commitment. Marilyn does not want to be an ordinary housewife so she divorced Marilyn. Arthur could not accept her past life of wanton sexual relationships. She was exploited. Many of her friends are of doubtful characters.
tuscon01, I think so too. There were several people who could have had motive and several people close to her said that the bedroom scene looked "staged" when they got there, her body had been moved.
Marilyn had a dog named 'Maf' short for mafia Sam Giancana gave her. She was being handled by Sam to woo important men. The Kennedy's had declared war on orgnaized crime so the mob tried to use her to get dirt on the Kennedy's but there was never an affair. So they just spread lies that there was, with no evidence; no tapes, no pictures. EVER. Hey, The National Enquirer is owned by the mob (look up wiki). She killed herself and no Kennedy was involved. PERIOD. If anything the mob was involved.
I like this music with the video. It reminds you of the trajedy beind the scenes of her life. I still find it amaxing that she barely lived to be thirty and is still the most recognized female in the western hemisphere. I like this song, can you tell me what it's called, who it's by?
such a shame she died! just saw some doc on tv about her she should never have taken her own life she was absoloutly gawjus i wish she could inspire some so called "celebrities" today she was so beautifull!
money and fame isn't everything. if she wasn't happy it was because of how the press and her managers treated her. or she didn't really want to be in the spotlight any more.
and what do consider 2nd class? the fact that she had talent and what not? if she was second class then i will hope and pray to be atleast to be in third class just to have a glimpse of her. Dumb ass
Yes, the music is very nice and MM was a beautiful woman. Her dimise was tragic and full of mystery. I do not think the full story will ever come out, as to her final moments. Thanks for the vid and music, really very nice.
Very nice tribute to Marilyn -- except for one photo not of her... please re-edit... if you don't know which one it is, it's a still from "Seven Year Itch." Please, it's so good, take that out...

We will most likely never know for sure, but she did suffer from depression, so who really knows ?
All that beauty & fame & she was stil not happy, which is what depression is, and she is not the only star that killed herself due to depression.
