@thebipolarpolarbear he is dragging the bike not only can you see it you can hear it at 1:50 if you take the under fairing and support bars away then let's see!
No question this guys good, but bad thing to teach people to do without body protection.Just think about quarter of a ton of Harley resting on your elbow.?
Just took my endorsement class here in FL with a guy who did a lot of rodeo riding here in the state...and like freerunner says these are the best guys to learn from. Was taught so much. Went in with a shit attitude for having to take a class since I had already ridden I just wanted to take a test at the DMV. Well can't do that here anymore. But my attitude changed once we got out there. I learned a lot of valuable things and it was one of the best courses I have taken for anything. Period!
Define "man's bike". Also, define "little boy". I think i know why your username is bipolarbear.. you have the attidtude of a bear, and i am sure you are bipolar. Troll
I have a Mini 40 Mile Busettii bike and it runs 50-55 miles on one battery charge. I also tried my friends Vortex Mountain bike by Busettii. It ROCKS ! Can get up to 32 mph top speed, and on one charge that bike set the new record of 86 miles. Hope it becomes a big hit. In California many people like Busettii because they cost around $1700 but can go 50--86 miles on one charge depending on model. Maria in Cali
that was impressive he made it look like it was a cake walk. . . . . if you didnt know any better you would think he would have wheels on the side so he wouldnt fall. . . (i know he dosent). . . . damn that was amazing
Honestly that's some skilled riding, but these bikes American cops ride are crap. Check out Japanese cops on sportbikes, we should have already modeled our police off of them.
On an Electra Glide no less... just amazing to be able to whip 700 lbs of iron around like that. Watch his his head, he is always looking to his next turn, very cool.
These guys have some amazing skill and the focus that goes along with it. Truly respectable. I can't help but wonder if they can do the same thing with a bike that has a much higher center of gravity and entirely different balance...say maybe a GSXR 600? Probably with enough practice...
On a Harley? No, it's a trick. He did it on a Honda VFR Interceptor and then they photo shopped the Harley in. They didn't? Well, then that guy must be one h...of a rider. Good show man.
All of the techinques learned in the ride like a pro series tapes are being put to use here. The circles are tighter tho haha...Most departments are dumping the Harley Davidson and changing to sport tour bikes. Like the Honda ST 1300, The Kawasaki Concours 14 ABS and The BMW 1300KT or whatever it is called. There are vids here of the riding a course in a Honda 1300
@bradgame27 Amazingly well considering it is a Harley. I had a black Valkryie for years that I could ALMOST ride that well. My two sons LEARNED to ride on that Valk. A heavy bike, but easy to handle because the horizontally opposed six engine is low, with the weight evenly distributed on both sides. I would love to see that particular policeman riding my old Valk, now that would be something to see. Smoother engine and all that.
@OldWriter205 I used to ride with a friend and at times we would set up a course something like this. Me on a Harley and him on a Valkyrie. Pretty evenly matched. The Valkyrie was the best cruiser that Hond ever made. Don't know why the quit making it. Specially considering the ugly shit they replaced it with.
@ardvarkkkkk Yeah, I liked my Valk so much that I purchased another and for a while had two. I sold both, eventually, and don't know why. Honda wanted to push that custom RUNE bike they built and quit selling Valks so people would buy the RUNE, which they didn't. Two great bikes, Valkyrie and the Magna, and Honda drops them both. My response? I now ride a Suzuki B-King, the wife rides a Suzuki M50, one son rides a Suzuki Bandit. That'll teach them.....LOL.
I love how he scrapes at the end, as if to say, "Yes, that's what you *didn't* hear while I was carving up all those cones. I can barely u-turn my Ninja in twice the radius at half the speed. Guess I need to set up some cones and practice!
hahaha I will bet 100 dollars he had to replace all his floorboard mounts after this little maneuver. watch him....... he doesn't actually controll the depth of the drop of the bike . he drops it onto the floorboards and rides them.
also you should check some of the stuff from the Japanese cops their competitions like this are equally impressive and some of their tests are quite imaginative lol
That guy's arms must be harder than a tree trunk to wield a hugeass Harley like that so effortlessly. It's almost sick, the level of control he has over that vehicle...
@skyholder84 If it takes muscle to ride a bike, you're doing it wrong. Check out the Ride Like a Pro video. They have a 15 year old girl and a couple of rather small woman riding like this.
I'm a BIG guy, and I ride a BIG Chopper but this is beyond what I thought possible on a cycle over 800lbs. Anyone who thinks that all there is to riding is speed should watch this again, and again... and again. This cop is a true rider. Shit!
I was proud of myself for taking my last motorcycle practical on my big Goldwing. geez.. I can't feel like I did anything special now. What a TALENTED competent officer. Wow. My hats off to you men and women learning to be that proficient at your jobs to keep us safe. Thankyou. Incredible. Vest-up and God bless you.
@flapsdwn Yeah, but since you have a Goldwing, how about a Valkrie, the Goldwing minus the kitchen sink and hot tub? I wish that officer could be permitted to ride a horizontally opposed six, evenly distributed weight and a much smoother performance curve, now that would be a ride to see....And so much faster..
Amazing. Lets all stop watching these pointless videos of guys doing stupid shit on sports bikes and start learning from these cops. If you wanna see some skilled riding, watch a motorcycle cop. This is some damn awesome, respectable riding skill. I wish I had it.
lol its easy to look good when your draggin your shit all over the course.. and no one notices it...
now it would be a little difficult for a sport bike to do such turns, because its sliders are much higher and used completely different... not draggin the ground to keep you upright during tight turns..
Lol, the guy on the video actually hits the " sliding point " only once or twice, the rest of the time, he's millimiters from it in perfect control....
That is control and to the muppets who say that they dont fall over, i have the scuff marks to prove it haha. Heavy bike being thrown around effortlessly, good stuff.
Hey skippyguy3. You obviously know nothing about motorcycles. Those floorboards do move up and down. They do not serve a secondary purpose of being a brace when it leans over. Learn a little about bikes before you go talking about how easy it is to run this course. Lets strap your tail on a motorcycle and turn you loose on the course. Let us know the next time you post, what it is like living with all thr broken bones you will receive. You sure seem to have your mind made up of how easy it is.
What do you ride? I think you're confusing the Road King (cop's bike) with a Goldwing which takes a bit of effort to make fall over. A KTM 525 supermoto would easily run rings around this course without it being "some shit" The 800 lb bike being effortlessly tossed around in this video? THAT is some shit!
i think the throttle control is impressive, but the rest of it not so much. he just leans it over till it hits the damn sliding point n its not going anywhere after that. Id like to see someone do this with a supermoto bike, thatd be some shit
Wow! I'd love to see someone do that on a sport bike. I'm not saying no one could, I'd just like to see it, by the way, I drive a sport bike (a big one) and no I'm not that good.
Harder to do it on a sport bike because they just don't have the lock. I'm spoiled. Though my GS is huge, it has enough lock to do this and a helpful body position. I can't imagine even coming close to this on a full blown sport bike. They just aren't built for it. Very nice run on that harley. That's a big bike to toss around like that. Well done!
My previous bike was a '93, GSXR1100F (Katana) probably rather close in many ways to your GS. I could do the local licensing course, slalom, circles, and figure 8 normally done on somewhat smaller bikes Well within the pylons via lock to lock. I could do this ONE TIME! Then I needed a rest. The course was much shorter and more open than the one on this clip. I never tried on my Ninja. I find this clip very impressive, I think competitions like this make better riders. Thanks for the reply.
Not a cop? HOw did you work that out? Who else gets that sort of trianing and skill? Nobbers on sports bikes? Track riders who only concentrate on going as fast as possible? Wake up
just because you are a pussy doesn't mean that everyone else is. Anyone who has been riding for 30 years better be able to scrape their damn elbow or they just never learned how to ride.
haha yeah thats some nice riding but when will you need to use that chasing criminals...."quick chase him he's going through the orange cones over there"
Filosofer > "I have a right to disrescpect the police.."
Certainly you do, just as others have a right to not respect you for lumping all police officers together based on a supposedly bad incident. An overzealous cop once falsely accused me, but another came to my defense against him. I walked away with the understanding there are good and bad everywhere, but even far more so in the ranks of those attacking police officers.
To fulfill your doubts... Yes, i can ride a motorcycle. I have my license for a motorcycle. This also means i can ride a bicycle. Your doubts have been answered.
Second, I have a right to disrescpect the police. Do you have any? Do you know why i disrespect them? no. So, if you don't know any facts about my hate towards them, don't talk.
have yourself an exceptional day watching youtube videos.
Yeah marcosk812218 he could be out saving someone but that skill coule also be used for escorting an ambulance or fire engine to a call aswell, You have to look at the bigger picture
wow! that is actually amazing. that bike must be so heavy, and to have such control! I have to give it 'em, that's pretty amazing. I thought the video was sped up, because he was turning so fast. extraordinary!
Wow, I take my helmet off to that guy! Amazing riding and such control. I kept thinking while watching it that I'd have to stop and ask for directions! Outstanding
Bike on training wheels (foot rests) he ain't shit if he had nothing to hold him up... Stunters could do better on 1 wheel than he can on 2 + footrests. Boo to 5-0. I hate police. On a side note, good run. Pig.

The course was much shorter and more open than the one on this clip. I never tried on my Ninja. I find this clip very impressive, I think competitions like this make better riders. Thanks for the reply.

Holy crap! I'd probably drop a bike that heavy on the first set of pylons. Great skills.

Not a cop? HOw did you work that out? Who else gets that sort of trianing and skill? Nobbers on sports bikes? Track riders who only concentrate on going as fast as possible? Wake up

aeroliner750 2 years ago
just because you are a pussy doesn't mean that everyone else is. Anyone who has been riding for 30 years better be able to scrape their damn elbow or they just never learned how to ride.

This guy is marvelous. His control of the friction zone is just incredible. Best I have ever seen by far!
ananga73 2 years ago 2
He does handle the bike very well, that is for sure! But I don't think that he can do anything against a rocket. Even a 600cc.

Fair play to that cop, he is savage.
Yeah marcosk812218 he could be out saving someone but that skill coule also be used for escorting an ambulance or fire engine to a call aswell, You have to look at the bigger picture
smokeybear555 2 years ago
Running may not would be a good idea...in town. You could outrun him on just about anything on a staightaway though.
DanciestCheese 2 years ago
1) good job 2) *chin396* your wrong... only run if you know you can win... which means bring some nails :)
Need4speed696 2 years ago
wow! that is actually amazing. that bike must be so heavy, and to have such control! I have to give it 'em, that's pretty amazing. I thought the video was sped up, because he was turning so fast. extraordinary!
omamder5 2 years ago 2
Wow, I take my helmet off to that guy! Amazing riding and such control. I kept thinking while watching it that I'd have to stop and ask for directions! Outstanding

Bike on training wheels (foot rests) he ain't shit if he had nothing to hold him up... Stunters could do better on 1 wheel than he can on 2 + footrests. Boo to 5-0. I hate police. On a side note, good run. Pig.

hate will bite you in the butt.......I feel sorry for you

DAAAAAANG!!!! Yeah, i second that. Don't run from a motorcycle cop...at least not THIS one.
