Fire Fighters are over-rated, Cops get the shaft becuase they Enforce Laws and make people who break them unhappy so people hate cops. Cops take way more of a risk everyday than a Fire Fighter does hands down !

@BIGDAD7869 it depends where you work... Some fire districts run so may calls they only start counting after midnight. although there are areas where firefighters are lazy and do not even leave the station every day.

its the same that some areas the crime rates are higher and the police run a much greater risk. and some places the police just write tickets. police also average 53 more deaths a year than firefighters, but there are also more police than firefighters....
