by any chance do you have written directions for this pattern? my brain can be quite foggy at times & I think written instructions would be easier for me to follow.

I've been doing these for a long time. There are lots of variations so it's a lot of fun to play with the stitch. Karla, can you post a tutorial for the ring you are wearing, that is cool.
