  • go to 3:55

its a glare from the tv pizza hut commercial

  • Can I put a mixture of woodchips And soil? Can I use Non-Organic soil but still heat it to 300° for 30 minutes? And do you leave the basking light on for a while and then turn it off or do you leave it on all the time? Because I was thinking it might probably heat up the basking stick to the point where it's too hot for the anole to stand on it..

  • lol pizza hut commercial in the terrarium at 3:54

  • hey i just got mine yesturday i dosent want to eat??

and i tried feeding it today and still nothing??also he is very, very active and wont let me hld him..please help!!

  • @cUrIeL909 Your anole is probably stressed out because you just got him, so he might not eat right away. They also don't like to be held usually... so holding them or trying to will stress them out also.

  • Nice setup I like it show a video of the lizard some time

  • Man I these are around my house I should feed one to my pacman frog

  • I have to green anoles do I need tht light thing?

  • Wow,I feed anoles to my beardie!O_O

  • Thumbs up if you saw Dirty Jobs in the background

  • Nice tank why don't you put the house gecko in the anole tank?

  • should i leave both lights on all day and night?

  • waa this is an amazing tank! So realistic to their natural habitat! :)

  • i have a anole named godzilla

  • hahaha u have a fake weed plant

  • Great set up. I find green anoles here in Miami in areas of lots plants just like your set up.

With all your light you could go with live plants such as pothos.

  • I see pot plants in there haha i think but awsome setup

  • First compact bulbs are the coils. And they don't cause blindness I've used them for years. Also you should have a thermal gradient so they can thermoregulate their body temps.

  • hey the bonzai tree idea is great if i ever get some anoles ill do the same thing.

  • @hardyboi2k10 I put a bonzai in with my setup, worked out great

  • im hopefuly geting some and i heard that u can put tree frogs in with them what tipe do u recomend

  • can u give me a reason why i should get this cuase I need to tell my dad so he will let me and he will agree

  • lights will crack the glass u should really use like a mettle wire sort of top just trying to help!

  • Cool setup dude.

Is that a Marijuana leaf in there? l0l

  • Awesome set up!

  • are the plants real beacuse some one told me its bad to put real flowers in a tank is taht true

  • @turoksniper Yes because it could have termites on them which is bad for your pets and house.

  • reaperx1337 anoles in ohio are like 7 bucks too

  • THANK YOU! Out of the HUNDREDS of videos on green anoles I could NOT find a video that said what substrate to use for live plants. I am going to use Ivy for my green anoles. ( Sorry for the caps)

  • Nice tank. I love Green Anoles. I used to take one of mine everywhere I went. He was really friendly. His name was Puma. :)

  • what????? why would you have those as pets???? here in Texas there are literally thousands of green anoles in our back yards!!

  • @SanguineBullet667 Seriously? Well there you go then free green anoles alll over the place!

  • @TheSolaceDream Yes seriously. Well . . I guess other people like them but to me they're boring because I see them all the time haha. We like to catch them and make them bite our ears and wear them as earings LOL . . they have some sharp teeth though.

  • Yes.. anoles themselves are cheap... maybe $10 max... however.. for the terrarium, plants, substrate, food, thermometers, logs, and other decor... well over $200

  • Well you know, not to sound cheap, but you could just buy all the plants at the dollar store. They are still made out of the same stuff, silk. Also you can get plants out of your yard, but you HAVE to make sure there are no chemicals or anything on it. I use some of the annoying vines that grow on trees here in Washington, I just rip them off the tree. Plant them in the dirt of my terrarium and they just grow and grow. It looks really cool!

  • Wow, that was a really cool tank. One of the best i have seen, i luved this vid. I will subscribe!

  • i just picked up my second one, the first one died but the store i got it from didnt take much care of it my new one is much healthier. nice set up!

  • Were is your Anole? I've read they're shy, but are they so shy, they can not be seen?

  • I enjoyed this presentation. You've obviously put a lot of thought and care into creating a healthy environment for the lizards, and are learning a lot about them. Thanks for posting this!

  • how many anoles could i put in a 18x18x18 exo terra cage???

  • prob about 10 to 13

  • DUDE YOU FUCKING RETARD. YOU CANT HUMANLY KEEP THAT MANY ANOLES IN A TANK THAT SMALL!!! a tank that size is suitable for one anole

  • you could keep one in a tank that small

  • u got weed in there!

  • I use anoles as food for my water dragon, Anoles are know to be aggressive..

  • yes. but if they skin is ichy, they can take a quick bath. :)

  • year. where is the water dish.?

  • the tank is cool but were is the water dish

  • Green Anoles don't need water dishes they drunk from the mist you spray on the leafs :)

  • you know what... i use fake plants too and if someone has something to say fuck'm their my pets

  • tsunami33twist gow do u know what weed looks like?????? XD

  • arnt ficus plants poisonous to lizards

  • nope

  • thats a very very nice set up dude

  • Nice set-up.

  • I use coconut fiber. is that ok?

  • Comment removed

  • i had monitors and alliagtors. now im thinkin about an anole tank with my empty 90 gallon tank. its just looks better with all the plants and easy care lizards. nice tank man!

  • The plants look like weed, you sure you growing anoles?

  • im pretty sure theres only UVA, UVB, and UVC

  • hey nice tank o and can i have you lizard plz

  • great tank

  • That's awesome man! Thanks for showing

  • How much did you spend all together?

    (estimate)

  • over all like 400+ dollars + cricket costs weekly.

  • compact is the coil

  • @ReaperX1337 $400+ for gay anoles? i have and live anoles but 400+? i spent 300 for my ball python and every thing for him

  • @ReaperX1337 $400 for that!?

  • @ReaperX1337 NO WAY!!!

  • I live in Pa there not native the highest there naturally occurring is A little into North Carolina. And even there on down to FL there being overrun by invasive species of anoles introduced by imports.

  • @ReaperX1337 I live in Florida dont fool yourself we are one skip away from the Carribeans and many of the non native species have been here hundredS of years they came in ships before such thing as planes and they came on floating bamboo, palm mats after hurricanes. They have not displaced a single Florida native but the CONSTANT developmet has been what has hurt natives and the non natives move in and thus get blamed. The bulldozer is the native killer

  • @ReaperX1337 Theres tons of Brown Anoles and Green Anoles here in Florida, kind of funny hearing you guys saying you bought lizards, ill catch you one for free if you pay for shipping.

  • just catch one outside

  • how much they cost i get mine for free lol

  • anoles? around here green anoles are like 7 bucks (PA)

  • lol here there all you can get for free lol PA

  • @ReaperX1337 Do you know of any 30cm,(12in) uvb tube lights, just that Im hoping to get an exo terra rainforest habitat kit that is 30x30x45cm thanx.

  • hey do y no how many watts the UVB tube is and also nice video

  • For anoles 5% UVB tube lighting is best. (Tropical).

  • Each Anole needds ten gallons of room MINIMUM. so 3 can fit in mine happily Mine is a 30 gallon tank.

  • how many anoles can fit in that

  • lol U can have him.

  • ill take ur house geckos :)

  • I only have on basking light. I keep it on one side, the long tube light is just UVB it emits little to no heating. I appreciate the comment thought.

  • il like your habitat...but to tell you something...do not put the other basking light on the other side...it will make your terrarium too hot...its called thermal gradient...some lizards like to be warm, but then they also like to cool down...so yeah...just trying to help out!

  • Thankyou.

  • that looks excellent dude. im sure you will have happy herps. keep up the good work.

  • Thanks Much friend! Actually one anole needs 10 gallons of territory or else it gets severely stressed and it's lifespan is shortened greatly. Like if you have ever see them at Petco they have about 30 of them in a little square box for sale :( But thanks for your post makes me feel good knowing people actually watch the vids. hopefully later on I want to make some more. Thanks again!

  • that setup is beautiful, u could fit 10 or more anoles in that

  • very cool!

  • Thankyou for watching the video.

  • do you need a heat pad?

  • No, actually there not such a god idea as the anoles might tend to get burned through the glass or if the pad is outside the glass (as it would be) under the substrate the anole may try and dig under to get warmth it should be receiving from above basking lamp and UVB tube light.

  • Good* lol

  • nice

    check mine out

its not good as yours though

I need to add more plants to make it look more willy
