Wonderful explanation on how to set up and stock a basic darkroom. I am old fashioned in that I prefer film to digital and I love the control over the processing.
its so sad that film went to the wayside so quickly! i have a cousin in highschool that had no idea what film was!.... needless to say i was horrified!
@fhurvhur meh not really dude. a lot of people still use toy film cameras like holgas and dianas to get the right effect, and film cameras are a LOT cheaper than SLRs so you can really take them anywhere without worrying about them too much
@MrChadthemonkey If you can't develop color film on your own and at least 50x60cm chemical prints, ithis historical method is useless, you have to go digital at one stage anyhow. Even if you did all those, costs will be tremendous for the time time and money. No need to talk about success rate, and needed tweaks on the scene. . Well I accept it's fun though.
P:S: I was a film fanatic until i bought my first digital camera 2 years ago.
Wow this is the first time I've ever been enlightened on the development of film. Very interesting stuff. I'd like to learn more about the film and the chemicals. Hopefully one day I'll have my own studio. Thanks again. :)

One of the better expert village videos out there. Just the right amount of information. Not giving newbies unnecessary information to worry about
