aw a friesian drill team!!! brilliant! would be awesome to see the routine at a lope. probably hard to turn those big guys. check out latigo n lace for amazing and fast routines

I think it was a great performance! I am envious, I wish I could afford a friesian, they're beautiful horses! I use to ride on a drill team, I really miss it. It was quite abit faster then this, I loved it!

I get the feeling hoodster22 is majorly jealous based on thier responce! Sad really!

And to that ignorant person you said they only like eventing- in eventing you have to do dressage, xc and show jumping, drill riding is a form of dressage so either you are only competing in cross country and you have no idea what your talking about or your a hypocrite! great movie and it must have been an excellent experience watching in person xxx

drill riding is extremely hard to co-ordinate and getting it right, in the correct time with out any collisions takes a lot of skill. This team has done fantastically. I think the fact they had left the canter out was a good move; if one of the horses and taken of it could have ended up a catastrophe and a rider could have fallen or a rider or a horse could have got hurt. Great costumes xxx o n everyone has their own dicipline prefernce.

in 4h i was one of the captains for the team i was on, there was 3 of us, and when me and the other capt were standing at attn. for the end of the anthem, the horse that was supposed to do a sliding stop crashed right into me and leo, my horse we were alright, but it was hilarious. my horse is so laid back that he just looked at the horse that crashed into us, like, yeah, sure, what do you want? it was funny. everybody was laughing

u guys suck! nice costumes tho. Sheboygan co. renegades could do so much better than u! My friend and I are making a drill team with just the two of us and I bet even us would be better than u! No offense.

I'm serious about having fun with my horse. Eventing is just the way I choose to do it. I suggest you put a sock in it and shut up. You don't know jack about me, my horse, why I have her.....I know perfectly well that OTTB means off the track thoroughbred. You are the one who is ignorant, insolent, arrogant, judgemental and its people like YOU who make the internet an unpleasant place to be. I'd like to see you make these statements to my FACE. Bring it on.

Oh really? I resent that comment. As it happens, we did not perform the canter movements that night because a few of the "rich ladies" were too timid to canter their horses in that arena. We were being nice to them. Can't control my Friesian at the "lope"? I'm an eventer....bite me. I'm not having fun unless I'm galloping. And yes, I am training my girl for the horse trials.....

the horses are absolutely AMAZING! I am on a drill team myself and to tell the truth I dont think I would like being on a drill team that doesn't Lope. I just have a need for speed! lol beautiful vid tho!

Oh but the canter was part of that routine. The leader ditched the canter movements that night because some of the members were nervous about cantering their horses in that arena.
