What a fun series. Campy yet still unique and creepy. While it wasn't as much fun as the movies it is still deserving of a dvd release or at least more time on Chiller (it at least beats their regular shows). Certainly more enjoyable than the remake at least. Robert Englund is awesome. It's fun to see him as the host and ocassional killer on the show without getting defeated by kids. I just wish I was around when this first came out and could catch it more often.

I watched this for the first time yesterday. One episode was so confusing. A kid moved to a house where Freddy killed somebody. He met a girl then he had a dream she threw a party. The "dad" came home and was pissed but the kid killed him and mom was happy. He then woke up and went to his bed to later find the girl in with him. The parents came home and were shoked. The dad tried to kill him then the parents came home again and the kid fell out the window but survived. The girls mom story starts

Yep, 20 years old now, Freddy Krueger is still my favourite horror character of every nasty, I even do impersonations of him to freak my mates out for a laugh of lines such as "You shouldn't of buried me, I'm not dead" and "When you get to hell, tell them Freddy sent ya!!!"

PS, I probably have 650 now and when I move out of my parents house, I aim to rapidly expand my collection, copy to hdd for ps3 playback and possibly have cinema nights with fellow horror fans alike!!!

@bbbbisthebest You could even try a horror convention at a college. It might work, I went to a few colleges where they were holding anime conventions, so maybe it could work for horror. And if not, maybe you can try to rent out a place to show horror movies. That idea was based on how an abandoned theater in my town was used to play Xbox games on the movie screen. Unfortunately they stopped doing it years ago.
