I agree. My pipes were in the vehicle all day in the 45-50 C temps and they just did not want to sound proper. This was a spontaneous start up to get some air going through them to wet the chanter, etc and notice I cut out early. It was a quick start up as the locals never heard pipes played before (and probably never want to hear them again). The pipes did tune better for the second set after the dust was blown out of the drones. Of course, the out of tune video would be posted, eh?
Pipes are very finicky to weather temps and moisture.

Would be nice if you tuned your bagpipes; and played something you could keep a rythmn too
