Not really, those players were too old. You can see Pippen can't play good offense anymore after left bulls(injures), and Rodman couldn't get as many rebs anymore. Other players were role players, couldn't make a ring without primary players.
And late 90s is the time new generation of players rising. Shaq and Kobe would be teammates and all coachs(Phil?) and teams will bet on youngs than old players.
If you were the boss, you would do the same thing.

Stats are subjective to the era in which the athlete plays. It is a repeating cycle of the next great athlete matching or setting the new statistical standard for "greatness". There has not been a player in the NBA that has dominated the game as much as Michael Jordan, regardless of stats. LeBron has a chance though..

Look at Jordans stats and Lebrons age, Lebron is better in almost ever category. Not only that but Lebron will get his first ring this year and many more to come. Also Lebron had to stand against way way way more adversity coming into the league then Jordan did. Yes Jordan is good, but Lebron is the best all time.

every sport changes throughout time.. you can't really say someones better now than someone from a different generation.. during wilt chamberlains era, regular games would score easily over 140 points.. now a days if u hold someone to 90 ur good.. even there wasn't even a 3 point line back in the day.. havin a championship ring doesnt make you the best. charles barkley and reggie miller don't have rings, yet reggie has the most 3 points ever since they put in that 3 pt line..
