  • thts not a condo a condo ish more thn one floor

  • @iLeviWuvYou, You're right! But the bunnies don't know - please don't tell! :D

  • I have a question I have a bunny who is 4 months and 2 weeks old we think its a she but she's very calm and not hyper unlike my other bunny who says hello to everyone i was wondering if it could be from her spending time with the other bunny or if it could be from her just moving and staying back with me(I had to stay with cousin so she had to come with and she was doing fine with their rabbits(her brothers and sisters) When i first broung her home before we had to leave again she was very

  • @destiny829 friendly and if i get her sprayed do u think it could harm her since shes already so calm

  • @destiny829 @destiny829, bunnies, have different personalities just like people. Also, your bunny has been socialized differently than your other bunny. If your bunny is a girl, be sure to have her spayed - otherwise, she is almost certain to develop cancer. It won't change her at all - she probably is just a calm bunny. Spaying could and probably will save her life. And it also is a good thing to do to keep your bunnies from producing unwanted litters! Please let me know how the bunnies are!

  • Just learned we got a house. We are moving mid next month. How do I move her without this inccident repeating itself all over again? She seems pretty ok. Still jittery but not as bad as yesterday.

  • She jumps on me while we're on the floor but forget about picking her up and putting your hand in the cage. Sorry for all these comments. You're very educated on these lil balls of fluff we sooo love. I think the food bribes are working. A lil

  • It took me two months to get her to follow me around. =(

  • Sigh. I put her back in the cage earlier and hand fed her parsley (and she takes that) but as soon as I go to pet her it's like WW2. Any of your advice on getting her to trust me again? I obviousely can't take her outta and cage or put her back w/out a battle scar.

  • Question. She was fine up until I took her to my Mom's house today with her cage so my Mom could see her. She made horrible grunts, squeaks, and congested like noises. Now see attacks me when I place my hand near her and she bites and squirms and runs from me. She has never done that to me before. Maybe she's now feeling threatened and attacking cuz I took her some place new?

  • She's back at home with me a I just got a terrible clawing and bite from her. Her noise is really really loud. Didn't know bunnies could make noise. Is she just mad at me? Or what. She's been attacking and "growling, grunting, (a heavy congested noise/breathing heavy sound) for hours. Did I just break her trust by taking her on a bunny road trip. She was fine up until I entered my Mom's house. Not that it might not matter my Mom has a cat. Could she still be threatened and attacking me for it?

  • @ric3stix, Yes, she's very upset. That's a honk that bunnies do when they're simply terrified. You'll have to gain her trust all over again, and believe me, it's going to take some time. The honks are scary when you first hear them, aren't they? Bunnies like routine and feeling safe. Now she's afraid her whole world will change again. But you can gain her trust: Let her come to you. Visit rabbit.org and read about it or get in touch with me again. Remember she's very afraid now and defensive.

  • Hey that black and white one chilling in the corner is what mine is gonna grow up to look like

  • Then you must have an English Spot! That is what our Kensington is (she is named after a part of London). She was recovering from her spay here and has grown to be a big, happy bunny. We love her dearly! Have fun with your English Spot! : )

  • @ittycar How big is your bunny? Pounds? And thanks for telling me what she is. No one has been able to tell me what breed she is. I got her and all they told me is she was a "dwarf" bunny. By no means is she a dwarf. I got a few vids of her.

  • @ric3stix, she is about 7 pounds now. English Spots are an old, old breed that was developed, of course, in England. They look more like hares than they do rabbits - long ears, long hind legs, and less rounded. You are right: She is not a dwarf. Be sure and keep her toenails trimmed and ensure she is eating timothy hay. Visit rabbit.org (my name is on there as an educator) and you'll learn all you need to know to care for your English Spot and have her as a companion for many years!

  • @ittycar Wow that's big. I wanna get mine spayed, but I told that a lot die on the operating table. Something about when being weaned off anesthesia. It hasn't really when researched upon. And tell me about it. I cut her nails TWICE a week. They grow so darn fast.

  • @ric3stix, a lot die from cancer from not being spayed, too. If you go to rabbit.org you can read about why it's important to neuter bunnies. All four of our girls have undergone spays with no problems (other than they had to wear collars to keep them from tearing out the stitches). Find a good vet and get some reassurance. Sounds like you are a very caring person - good for you and for your bunny!

  • @ittycar Thank you! I wuv my bunbun. I have a friend (didn't spay hers) with a bun that's 6 y/o. She says it's almost her buns time up.

  • @ric3stix Bunnies can live a long time...well past 10 years. Take good care of your bunbun and she will have a long, happy life with you. And just let me know if I can help - glad to!

  • where did u get that wire fencing from.

I cant seem to find anywhere.

It's so frustrating, i have been looking for literally months.

I ask for assistance and when i say wire cubes, people just look at me like "wat the?"

  • cool

  • Thanks for your nice comment! All our bunnies (all rescues) live in pens like this downstairs. This is Kensington. She had just been spayed so she stayed upstairs where we could keep an eye on her. The puppy pens are ideal living quarters for bunnies!

  • Hi, there! Go to Petsmart and say, "I would like a puppy pen." That's all these are. When you buy them, you'll see how you can hook them together using the rods that come with them. You can make any size or shape. For this particular condo (which, incidentally, we used only when our bunny was spayed) it will tkae 2 or 3 pens. Let me nkow how it works out!
