  • is that yoshida co commentaiting

  • guys hes iranian. hes parents are armenian. he was raised in the netherlands

  • dude who the hell put moussasi against this fat jap wtf

this is just one of those fckd up pride style match ups

  • 恐ろしいくらいにジャブが見えないww

  • He's Armenian but raised in iran

  • He's Armenian but born and raised in Iran

  • Greatest Turkish fighter ever!!

  • i hope to see mousasi fight in the ufc.. :)

  • どうでもいいがDREAM17じゃないよ

    『DREAM JAPAN GP FINAL』だよ

  • wow...the japanese ref really gave his fellow country man a chance to get back into the fight by not stopping it immediately when he turned his back and had his head outside the ring and ropes. he should of stopped it sooner.

  • @load222 He wanted to make sure there was aboslutly no chance Japan was going to win before he stopped it.

  • Lol @ asian guy's tree stump legs. Jeez.

  • yeah, great fight................NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!

this just shows you that these jap organisations cant compete with the ufc. i mean come on!!! this is a DREAM TITLE FIGHT!!!!!!!!!!

Okay so let me put it in tems that even an idiot like malishmlishshin can understand:

DREAM LIGHT HEVYWEIGHT TITLE FIGHT; MOUSASI VS IZUMI

UFC LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE FIGHT: JONES VS RAMPAGE

Now if anyone thinks that DREAM wins in this comparison, let me put it for you in polite terms

YA DONT KNOW SHIT ABOUT MMA

  • @allelbows79 well thanks for pointing out the obvious dumbasss either way japan damage system rules like in pride are much better ufc has the better fighters but dream will always have the better rules

  • @allelbows79 Thank you for pointing out why Dream is better by naming an example of two stupid boring fighters who are both probably on steroids. Maybe if you combined both their skills, you might get a person somewhat close to Mousasi's skill.

And even though Izumi got schooled here, he's pretty skilled. Except he's a groundfighter.

Groundfighter in the UFC means you get a boring 10 minute hugging match.

Groundfighter in Japan means they got actual balls, and try to fight.

  • That japanese guy is not at the level of mousasi, i dont know how he lasted that long or even how he got a shot at the title.

  • this is not Dream 17, this is Dream: Japan GP Final, this was the event before Dream 17!

  • dream is the best gala mma na świecie

  • gegard still has 2 fights on his contract with strikeforce, if he beats ovince st pierre i can only imagine that he would get a rematch with king mo or he'd get a shot for the light heavyweight belt

  • Well Pride was awesome, but I think it has alot to do with the crowd interaction(they're quiet) and the white ring(less advertisements, more stand-ups so less wrestling and you can see whats going on) but if you're going to watch Dream based on the fact that it's a throw back than you're missing out on seeing the best in the world. Look at the guy Gegard is facing for their title. Gegard's great, but how can you call yourself the best when you fight at that level? He'll be better off in the UFC.

  • @bloodylasagna lmao because he's asian

  • Armenia is the Best

  • Apres, Geghard!

Ev surb droshak@ togh misht cacani haghtanakov go dzerqin!

  • gegard the technician !!!! LETHAL

  • they allow shots to the back of the head?

  • Dream should allow head kicks to a downed opponent

  • I hate that he lost to king mo, i fucking hate king mo. Mousasi is far more talented than that ass hat.

  • the ref let that goon way to long.

  • Please I'm a massive MMA and UFC fan. However I genuinely believe this guy deserves to be in the UFC because that is where the best are. He deserves it the most, Overeem is coming to UFC, Melendez is coming to ufc, DANA WHITE there is one person left, that is Mousasi. Bring him there, I'm already a fan but this is one thing that my heart really wants. I feel bad for the kid he obviously wants to be recognized more.

  • That is Armenian power at it's best good work Gegard!

  • I agree that he is heavily underrated, he has excellent technique, he is a very well rounded fighter and he has a calm head on his shoulders.

I sometimes feel that he lacks a bit of savageness though, an example of this IS his draw with Jardine.

Whatever, much respect to Mousasi and long live the devastating up kick!

  • @bosnianpro1 it was also called dream 17......

  • I hope to see mousasi in the ufc

  • Picked him APART.

  • Comment removed

  • I like the combo by Izumi at 1:50

  • the ref shuda stopped it earlier

  • Izumi must be the first fighter who got TKOd outside the ring.

  • @FrostyCoug lmfao +1

  • Gegard beat his ass like he stole his favorite Transformer.

  • @PygmyPhallus mousasi was a Power Ranger kid...

  • @imtehshit Just imagine what he would of done to him if he stole his favorite Power Ranger then.

  • yup, turks fuck japanoise again

  • @juicespirit Why can't you understand? Mousasi is not a turk! you keep posting the same comment on every Mousasi video. even if you dream of him being a turk that is not going to change the fact that he is an Armenian.

  • mousasi is never happy......I would be happy as fuck if I won a fight

  • Gegard vs Bones...

    Winner takes Silva.

  • Comment removed

  • Not a worthy opponent for Gegard. Would like to see a rematch with King Mo....

  • Crowd was like, "Fuck. We lost again. Well, I'm gonna hit the concession stands."

  • stoppage abit late to be honest... he clearly wasnt going to recover

  • stoppage abit late to be honest...

  • hiroshi izumi chỉ được cái người mỡ nhiều chứ đánh dở ẹc

  • poor matchmaking

    izumi is tough guy

    but no match for gegard

  • did he tap verbally or did his corner throw in the towel?

  • レフリー止めるの遅いべ

  • lmfao guy got fucked up i LOVE how gegard just walks around all the time chill as hell like oh yeahh its nuthin haha love it.

  • i think Gegard did not do best at all. Gegard can beat izumi within 3m.

  • wow! did they let some random chubby guy from the stands just challenge this dude! looks like it... how much was he payed?

  • Comment removed

  • Gegard is a SAVAGE!!!!!!

  • @dbzfighterz Of some crap org maybe. Hes not gonna beat many if any of the top ranked lhws . Evans would beat him . Henderson has a really good chance. Rampage and jon jones are a sure bet. Machida would prolly clown him badly as well. He would prolly beat shogun and maybe forrest though with a real maybe on forrest.

  • @xxspliffsmokexx yeah at this stage in shoguns career id favor mousasi over him. i think gegard biggest problem is he isnt a strong lhw and he lacks a wrestling base let alone effective tdd or reversals or takedowns.

but he can sure fuck you up from the bottom

  • i hope Gegard got paid for this waste of time!!!

  • The Jap guy is a joke, Gegard must face a guy who has name, this fight doesn't need to be on tv.

  • THIS IS ARMENIA THIS IS ARMENIAN POWER!!

  • Gegard back to his old winning ways =]!

  • wow i didnt know Dream was so good, just like the pride good old days!

fuck ufc/tuf im going to watch Dream from now on.

  • @malishmalishin All MMA is good. I watch Dream FC, Bellator, Strikeforce, UFC, old Pride FC videos, Art of War FC(Chinese MMA), I will continue to watch One FC, and I watch local fights as well.

No matter the organization or the level of the fighters they all come to do what we want to see and that is fight which is always entertaining.

  • とめるのおっそ

  • Mousasi is way too big, way too fast, and way too experienced.

    What a terrible match up.

  • @iiLoV3Pride EPIC mismatch. I can't believe Mousasi even took this fight. If he were to somehow lose, it would have really hurt his career. Izumi only 5 fights...all against much lower level dudes. Mousasi has 36 fight!!!!! JMMA match making baffles me sometimes.

  • damn this was like sparring for mousasi

  • @yumjesusjuice When ur fighting a guy who only had 5 fights, and u have 36 fights.......it basically is a sparring session. rediculous matchmaking.

  • I geuss Izumi is pretty famous in Japan being a big judo guy, so thats what they used to sell the fight.

  • @yellowsneakers234

#1 youre an idiot and you obviously dont train

#2 anything can happen in a fight, whether you have 100 fights or 2 fights

#3 you dont know izumis judo background.

  • @AngryDogNuts #1: I actually do train and am curently 8-0 in amatuer MMA and 0-1 in amatuer boxing. #2: I understand anything can happen, especially in MMA.....I've been there. #3: I am well versed in Izumi's background as an olympic judo champion. Knowing that, I wasn't shocked that Izumi was getting this shot, but that doesn't make it any less rediculous. Mousasi isn't just vastly more experienced, but the level of competition he's fought and BEAT are far superior to anyone Izumi has faced.

  • 森泉wwwwwwww

  • Izumi is a good fighter, he still had a bright future if he improve in his standing. too bad this fight he is facing the all rounded world class fighter~~~ MAUSASI!!!

  • just cuz you win a silver or gold metal in the Olymics doesn't mean your gunna be good in mma

  • I wonder who's next for the Mousasi-Man.

  • wtf is this shit, why can't they give Mousasi a better opponent?

  • Can anyone say mismatch!!

  • bum of the month stuff, what a can

  • In my opinion one of the most unrecognized and underrated mma-fighter. the jardine draw was total bs.

  • @Zunderberg87 totally agree man, mousasi is a force to be reckon with

  • @Zunderberg87 That's what happens when he fights in America. Biased judges.

  • @Zunderberg87 lol he destoryed jardine for three rounds, only reason they tied it was because of jardines take downs.

  • @Zunderberg87 completely rigth !! jardine was completely fuck up after his match against mousasi

  • Awesome jab @ 2:35

  • wtf is this poo........

  • Завистливые суки

  • I would love to see Izumi drop weight and get with a real good camp!

  • Как же я скучаю по прайду..............Мусаси молоток.

  • forgot he was a judoka...

  • ladies and gentleman, here is the real superman!!!

  • @shakbazyan He beat up a tubby asian that could fight at 170lbs or even 155lbs with 5 fights. I'm a fan of Mousasi but he deserves no credit for this win.

  • @TreyMMA

.....Roy Nelson is tubby , but im sure he can fuck up most people, or stand up with some bad ass mofos

  • @000widescreen000 That's not Roy Nelson , Roy Nelson had alot of accolades and experience. IFL HW Champ , Ultimate Fighter Winner , Grappling tournament achievements and so on. This is some oversized out of shape Japanese man they pulled off the street to fight Gegard.

  • @TreyMMA

Ok fair point, and yes this is starting to piss me off that this fight was For Dream Light Heavyweight Championship . Like wtf this is the best they could come up with? Gegard hardly broke a sweat. This smeel like bullshit. Gegard is a great fighter, it would suck to see him fight bums, then when he gets old they give him some bad as smofo and he gets his ass kicked :/

  • @000widescreen000 The upside....Dana White is a fan of Gegard Mousasi , Mousasi isn't against signing with the UFC and most everyone agrees Mousasi should of won against Jardine ( awful performance by him though he hasn't impressed me for a while.) If he comes to the UFC I'd like to see him fighting at 185lbs again though , I don't like his chances at 205 size and strength wise.

  • @TreyMMA

I agree, but i don't know i think he can take care of him self in 205. It should be good to see, a real challange. 185 Is fine too but 205 is where its at. Since he droped down from 265 cat. Where he will get demolished :/ 205 is perfect for him, in terms of challange and development for his skills.

  • @000widescreen000 I'd say expect guys like Davis , Bader , Rashad , Vemola , Jones , Stanislav Nedkov to be able to handle him worse than Mo did , not to mention I think there's guys who could oustrike and just plain overpower and finish him at 205.

185....His skills will shine , his striking will shine , I think he'll be able to scramble , sprawl and defend from his back very well and his striking would be top 3 in the division.

  • @TreyMMA

Ya , i was thinknig exacly the same , but then again Gegard is no push over. Then again 185-205 he has no problem makeing ether. Start 185, move up to 205.

btw hope he makes it to the 2012 Summer Olympics. That would be cool to see an experienced mma fighter in boxing..... well he boxed before so ether way.

  • ГЕГЕГД - гроза детей инвалидов

  • thnx 4 upload,

  • mousasi vs. another chump

I think once mousasi starts fighting higher ranked fighters, he'll be the one on the receiving end of a beating

  • @dicipline8888

I disagree with that statement. Thee only thing that he needs to work on is his wrestling and takedown defense.

  • @dicipline8888 i dont see that happening as long as he is with M1 Global ....... and there is no one in Dream that comes even close to Mousasi , skill wise

  • @the20hunk Zuffa will have him fighting much better guys in the future. If I'm not mistaken, he lost his last title fight and he probably won't be getting it back

  • @dicipline8888 thats what i was saying man , there is much better fighters in 205 division in UFC , Mousasi is a young talented fighter with lot of experience , but the problem is M 1 global manages him , these are same guys who never let fedor fight in UFC ..... i'll be more than happy to see him in UFC but i dont see it happening as long is he is with M1

  • @the20hunk "In February 2010, Mousasi left M-1 Global Management. Mousasi was quoted as saying "After careful consideration, I have decided that it is in my best interest to part ways with M-1 Global," Mousasi wrote in the e-mail. "During the time I spent under their wing, M-1 Global, as a promoter and management company, allowed me to achieve many great things. I appreciate all they have done for me. My management is being taken care of by someone close to me." " -Wiki....

  • @Tacla07 wow , i was totally unaware that he left M-1 , i hope he makes his ufc debut soon ......

  • @the20hunk Me too I would really like to see if he is a legit contender or a can crusher. Im not sold on him and think he could be all hype. Lets lock him in the cage with the best lhws in the world and see what hes made of instead of cans in japan.

  • @xxspliffsmokexx well he is legit , you cant say he is or can be all hype , i mean he koed Babalu sobral , and defeated Jacare souza both of these fighters are legit veterans , i was just wondering weather he can be as dominant in UFC and hang out with the top 5 guys , he would be a great add up to the 205 roster .

  • than ks for sharing

  • vicious left cross.

  • Poor guy should have called the suicide hotline or sought out a psychiatrist, because he was clearly suicidal for trying to take this fight against mousasi.

  • mousasi owned him

  • MOAR!

  • Too easy for Mousasi

  • Thank you for finally uploading this.

  • mousasi machida would be great!
