The old car can do 0-60mph in 3.3 with TC and the new one can do a 2.88 with TC. Apparently GTR president Mizuno has said the 2012 GTR will have 555hp and will shave 8-10 seconds off the 7.20secs that the 2011 car manages around the Nordscliefe!

I think people greatly exagerate the results of tests like this and stats on cars. BOTH cars are amazing, even if one is two tenths of a second faster than the other. Those differences are barely perceptable. For me it's a matter of style that makes the choice.
