love this song, but it represents bad times getting in with wrong-uns and becoming a wrong-un myself shoplifting in supermarkets, thankfully it was a shortlived episode of my life and i became "my honest"self again.
@ledzzappa thanks for sharing that, i was the same... young DJ i was, 20 i be then and the music said hey mr... mr alive, mr exiciting...you are cool, so is everybody else... the music and me...landed at the right time, by 1990 i was spinning tunes in Israel of all places, introduced some UK tunes to them... very hardcore the Israeli's, very fun loving...oh the woman, the memories of those days will remain for life... i feel an erotic memoir coming on... :) cheers
This song sounds outstanding! This song reminds me of the Japanese cartoon: Love Hina. I imagine the character Naru Narusegawa singing this song. I also imagine the rest of the girls from the Hinata Apartments playing instruments.
Almost every version I've encountered is an homage to this theme. From Ibiza "chills", to the Dorfmeister guys...In conclusion: It´s timeless, just like a piece of art is.
