  • I built one of these with a few add ons. I made mine a two station. Mounted the whole thing on rollers for portability . Added a flash dryer to the base, it swings into place for a quick flash. Works great

  • does anyone else think that maybe there is a way more efficient way to create a station... this looks alot bigger than it needs to be.

  • @fastr1337 Most of the size is the table, so you could forgo making the bottom part and just clamp it to an existing table or workbench if that is an issue. Otherwise it can't get any smaller because it's limited by the size of the screens.

  • @fastr1337 not really thats as small as you can get i have a steel one and its more or less about the same size ...

  • how did you connect the clamp to the metal piece, anyway nice job, im trying to make one my own, the one i make, where you put the frame, its not secure, its moving a little, thats why i'm thinking putting a clamp on it.

  • hey man u don sell plans or instructions to build it???? I wanna make one just like that!!!!

  • fucking Great!!!! from Japan. IM gonna make one too. thank you

  • where did you get the angled metal pieces?

  • that is excellent! Great job. I wanna make one! How did you do it?

  • im half way through making this but the sizes of some of the hardware is different here in the uk. would be gratefull if you could give me the measurement of the turnbuckle from the top of the eye to the bottom of the hook. also the length and width of the springs your using

    thanx martin

  • hey flame i just finish building mine it took about maybe 9 hours from start to finish i post pic later but the plans this press is pricise on point every squere inch of it

    great registration too

  • you are my hero dude!! that look nice I have the plan and I'm doing it!! fist up!!

  • Hey man nice job on the build, looks like you stayed faithful to the plans. I know because I helped design the original that the plans were made from. Thanks for the link by the way.

Just thought that I would let you know that I am working on a micro registration retrofit for this press, if you would be interested you can check out my prototype video.

It is a real thrill and it warms my hart to see others enjoying something that I helped with thanks for sharing.

    Dan

  • Hey there Dan! No, man, thank YOU for designing that thing and sharing the plans with the rest of us who love printing but can't afford (and don't have the space for) a big steel press.

I have to say the thing works better than I honestly expected. I can register a 3 pixel trap perfectly every time :)

Er, more to say, but my character count is running low, I'll send you a message.

  • creative... i wish i can make one
