This video helped me make up my mind to get a 2010 SX4. It helped that the reviewer looked so cute driving. Seriously though, nice review. I wondered if you would get in trouble with the owner of the garage though...don't they have cameras in the garage???

I purchased a new 2010 Suzuki SX 4 in spring of 2010. It has only been driven the city in temperate non-winter conditions. No ice, snow, or gravel on the road. Much of the front end is pitted with paint chips. They are everywhere, right down to the primer. I take my car in for regular service intervals and keep it clean. The finish is rapidly disintegrating. I spoke with Suzuki corporate and they recommend I take it into the dealership. I will do this and keep you all posted.

@onbradley Please do keep us up to date on this. One of the problems of only having a vehicle for a short time to review it (1 to 2 weeks) is that we don't get a lot of insight into long term durability.

One of the best reviews I've ever seen. They actually put the car to real tests instead of just giving a biased opinion based on limited knowledge of the Suzuki brand and past stereotypes. It's kinda funny..... because it seems that every time that reviewers actually REALLY test out the SX4 they come away with alot of respect for the car, and phrases like "most fun car int he price range" inevitably come up.

@zeewrath I got a 2007 FWD 5 speed. Good car, but not the greatest. Having some issues now at 117,000 km. Engine light keeps coming on and off and the air bag light just came on recently. Also had to get the O2 censor replaced at 70,000 km.

Excellent (and highly entertaining) review! It's clear Suzuki has a winner with the SX4 Crossover. I'd feel a greater sense of security as an owner of one given our harsh Midwestern winters.

I also bought this little car,and man am I happy! Last weekend I tried to drive in beach sand. And thanks to little weight of this car+ 4 wheel drive,I never even felt like getting stuck! Last year tried same thing with Honda civic and spent 3 hours to digg it out . So far very happy. though mine has only 79 kw ,it would need stronger engine.

the aerio is a much better car and if suzuki actually advertised like how they are advertising the sx4 it would have killed the corolla!

well idk about killing the corrola... afterall it is the most popular car in the world. But im sure that if suzuki spend a little more in marketing, they could really get something going for them with this car! People just need to see wat its capable of...
