As far as I'm concerned Gilmour is the main ingredient of Floyd to start with and over the years that seems to be the sentiment. Van the Man! Van's drawl and falsetto adds sooo much to an already perfect song. I love Pink Floyd, but this version is by far the most moving... Van's vocals are simply otherworldly.

As for the comments about Roger turning to the audience to lipsync, you should notice that all the vocals are off... I've seen the DVD many times - its just the transfer.

This was one of the most prolific concerts in history, on the site of the Berlin Wall that had fallen a year before.
