  • thanks...i see textbook.

  • looks very profesional

  • Good one !wow . I want winter now !!!

  • Well executed. If an idiot like me attempted something like that, you'd see me wash down the mountain with the rest of the flow. I gotta learn some skills and get out west sometime real soon! Looks beautiful out there!

  • controlled. skilled skier.

  • start way further back on top of the part of the cornice you are trying to break and side step into it, kicking down hard with your downhill ski. guy was lucky.

  • there was no luck involved. theo meiners has a tremendous amount of experience in the mountains. he had cut the cornice with a saw in a precise manner and knew exactly where he was in order to trigger the break. he knew his escape route off the cornice and onto the slope. he also knew the cornice would break and run downhill, while he would ski off the side.

  • thats a sizable break

  • i don't know how "controlled" that was.

  • quite controlled. see above for an explanation of the procedure.

  • @Nataraja13 looked like he had it under control to me. he's a pro. cornice breaks often aren't easy or perfect.

  • you call this controlled? omg

  • it is impressive, indeed, and very controlled.

  • :) ok then

  • @ARLincDOTcom that was an alot bigger chunk than i was expecting, good work

  • WOW
